The eyes of a hawk

Pictured above is a Cooper’s hawk in a tree off Seventh Street recently. The hawks, which can be found from Canada to Mexico are also sometimes referred to as big blue darters, chicken hawks, hen hawks, Mexican hawks, quail hawks, striker and swift hawks.
