Phil Wolford of Garden of Eden Landscaping works to plant trees along West Fifth Street in Marysville. The city has purchased 113 trees to be planted along the newly improved street. This tree, a Carpinus Caroliniana, also known as an American hornbeam, a blue-beech and a musclewood is a small hardwood tree. Wolford said the tree, like all the trees selected to be planted along the street is native to the region and is narrowing growing. He said the tree will have leaves three seasons a year and will grow to about 15 feet tall.
