Two drivers were transported to Memorial Hospital in Marysville on Tuesday afternoon, following a four-vehicle crash. According to Sgt. Jason Highsmith, of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Jordan Sloan, of Lima, was driving east on U.S. 33, near the Honda Parkway exit, at about 2:55 p.m., Tuesday. Sloan allegedly drove his 2008 Ford Fusion into the rear of a 2013 Range Rover driven by Andrew W. Hire, of Columbus. After hitting the Range Rover, Sloan drove his vehicle off the right side of the road, hitting two other vehicles parked along the side of U.S. 33. Off the road, Sloan hit a 2012 Ford F-350 operated by Travis K. Wolfe, of Milan, and an unlisted vehicle operated by Jamie L. White, of Norwalk. Wolfe and White were transported by the Allen Township Fire Department with non-incapacitating injuries. Highsmith confirmed Sloan was charged with failure to maintain Assured Clear Distance Ahead. Highsmith said the investigation is still pending.
