Flood waters from the Mill Creek have crossed the Jim Simmons Trail prompting city officials to close it until the waters recede. Those wanting to enjoy the trail today are greeted, not only with knee-deep water, but also with signs, like this one at the trail’s Kentucky Circle entrance.
