Barbara Ann “Barb” Luebben, 80, of Lakeview and formerly of Grove City and Marysville died Oct. 29, 2019 at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was a 1957 graduate of Marysville High School.
She and her mother owner and operated Marysville Paint and Decorating. She was a member of Indian Lake Community Church in Russells Point. She also volunteered at the Indian Lake Food Pantry and supported St. Jude’s and the Humane Society.
She enjoyed being with her husband, as well as snowmobiling, riding waverunners or boating on Indian Lake. She also enjoyed holidays and special occasions with family and friends.
She was a compassionate and generous person who would help anyone in need.
She was born on Aug. 19, 1939 to the late Irene Haines Jackson and PW Jackson. She married Robert L. “Bob” Luebben on Feb. 15, 1975 in Marysville and he preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2018.
She is survived by a daughter, Tanya Graham of Marysville; two step-daughters, Lori Moore of Pioneer and Kimberley Haines of Grove City; five grandchildren, Marissa Graham, Ian Graham, Kelly Haines, Corinne Haines and Joshua King; three great-grandchildren, Dominic Marino, Sidney King and Bailey King; and her beloved kitten companions, Fuzzy and Tripper.
Pastor Jim Ellington will officiate funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2019 at Indian Lake Community Church, 121 N. Main Street, Russells Point. Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Shoffstall Funeral Home North Chapel, 115 N. Main Street, Lakeview and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will take place at Huntsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Indian Lake Community Church.
