Frenchmen “Frenchy” Fuller, 76, of Marysville, died early Sunday morning, Dec. 5, at Bluebird of Marysville after months of failing health.
He was a proud owner of a pallet business for 28 years. He was a longtime horseman who owned and trained in harness racing and, in his earlier years, enjoyed driving as well.
He was a 1963 graduate of Marysville High School.
Over the years, he enjoyed shooting pool and playing cards, especially Texas Hold ‘Em. He even competed in the World Poker Tournament in Las Vegas.
He was born Dec. 14, 1944 in Vicy, Virginia to the late Woodrow and Sarah Deel Fuller. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Donald and Johnny Fuller and by his son-in-law, Rick Eiterman.
He is survived by his children; Carla Eiterman, Lisa (Les) Walsh, Anthony (Lori) Fuller and David (Rosia) Clark; ten grandchildren; siblings, Elmer (Brenda) Fuller, Richard (Carole) Fuller, Doug (Connie) Fuller, Frances (Ron) Rayburn, Nancy Prater and Jean (Jack) Taylor; many nieces and nephews; and Kim “Lucy” O’Quin, whom he considered a daughter.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home in Marysville. The family requests that those entering the funeral home, please wear a mask for the safety of all.
A funeral procession will be formed Thursday by 1 p.m. to go to Oakdale Cemetery for interment.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in care of the funeral home.
