Hoyt Manning, Jr., 89, of Plain City, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Monarch Skilled Nursing Home.
He was born Aug. 1, 1929, in Linary, Tennessee.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran who retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. He was a member of Shepherd’s Chapel in Arkansas.
He was a sketch artist who took an interest in just about everything and could do anything he set his mind to.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt Sr. and Imogene Manning; wife Barbara (Spencer) Manning; and sisters Peggy, Betty, and Gloria.
He is survived by his children, Jeffrey Manning, Randall (Ronda) Manning, and Tamara Wegner; granddaughters Jennifer Manning and Melaine Manning; sisters Rosemary and Carol; and several nieces, nephews and many good friends.
A gathering will be held from 1-3 p.m., Saturday July 6, at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St., Plain City, with services following immediately after.
