J. Roger Mabry, 86, of Milford Center, died peacefully Sunday evening, Dec. 9, 2018, at Memorial Gables, after several months of failing health, surrounded by his devoted family.
Before starting the Mabry and Sons construction company, he farmed numerous areas surrounding Cable and Milford Center. He farmed until 1972, when he started the Mabry and Sons construction company. He ran the company until he retired in 1994.

He was born Dec. 24, 1931, in Champaign County, to the late Clayton and Leota Black Mabry. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, the former Janice Marcella Grove, whom he married Aug. 30, 1951, and who died June 13, 2014; and a stillborn daughter, Pamela.
He is survived by his daughter, Marcie J. (Keith) Inskeep of Marysville; sons, R. Kevin (Nancy) Mabry of Marysville, Victor R. (Peggy Richardson) Mabry and Tracy S.
