Jack Vining, 58, of Ostrander died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021.
He was born July 22, 1963 in Delaware to Betty and Llyod (Junior) Vining.
He was a resident of Ostrander his entire life. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Thrush and brothers-in-law, Bob Thrush and Daniel Frey.
He leaves behind three siblings, Jerry (Cindy) Vining, Neil (Tami) Vining and Luanne “Nan” Frey; many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.
He graduated from Buckeye Valley High School in 1981. He was an employee at Select Sires for over 40 years. He loved being outdoors, working on the farm, building things, listening to rock and roll, watching old westerns and being with his dog L.J, and his family.
He will be remembered as a fun, well liked, ornery person.
A graveside service to honor his life will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 at the Fairview Cemetery in Ostrander. Visitation will be held Wednesday night from 4-6 p.m. at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio 43015.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jack and L.J.’s honor at the Delaware County Humane Society, 4920 OH-37, Delaware, OH 43015.
