James R. “Rick” McConnahea, 58, of Marysville, died Monday morning, March 25, 2019, at the Convalarium at Indian Run in Dublin.
He was a former maintenance employee at MEA. He was a very unselfish person willing to do anything for anyone, especially for family in need. He was a man who dearly loved his grandchildren. His pastimes included tinkering in the garage, welding and target shooting.
He was born July 26, 1960, in Marysville, to the late James and Sue Rader McConnahea.
He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy P. Bradley, whom he married Dec. 13, 2002; children, John McConnahea, Jason (Ashley) Brust and Francheska Hudson, all of Marysville, James (Teesha) McConnahea of Urbana and Patrick Brust of West Mansfield; 13 grandchildren; and brother, Steve McConnahea of Marysville.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ingram Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to assist the family with the unexpected expenses.
