Katherine V. Glover, 91, of Plain City died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019 at Memorial Gables in Marysville after an extended illness.
In addition to being a wife, mother and homemaker, she worked for 27 years at Lazarus Department Store.
She was born on March 1, 1928 in Glover Gap, West Virginia to the late Carl and Christine (Snider) Freeland, although she lived most of her adult life in Upper Arlington and Plain City.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert; two sons, Alan Glover of Phoenix, Arizona and Gary Glover of Atlanta, Georgia; son-in-law, Greg Duncan of Atlanta; daughter, Diana Glover of Phoenix; grandson, Joshua (Megan) Heflin and two great-grandsons, all of Breckenridge, Colorado; sisters, Phyllis Basham of Cape Canaveral, Florida and Sharon (Ron) Church of Wilmington, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Mary Freeland of Whitehall, West Virginia; several great nieces and nephews; and many friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main Street in Plain City, where funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bonnie Frost officiating.
Burial will be in Darby Township Cemetery in Unionville Center.
