Scott Thomas Arnold, age 29, of Beaufort, North Carolina, formerly of Marysville, left us too soon, Saturday, November 27, 2021. Scott was best known as a singer/songwriter, chasing his dreams from Marysville, Ohio to the lights of Nashville, Tennessee. He found his home in Beaufort, North Carolina where he grew as a local, well-loved musician. Scott inspired countless others with his talent, drive, persistence and the compassion that only an Old Soul possesses. He lived and loved more in 29 years than most do in 129 years. Scott was a self-taught guitarist, vocalist and keyboardist and played the harmonica. He will be most remembered for his laughter, great smile and his big bear hugs. A 2010 graduate of Marysville High School in Marysville, Ohio, Scott was a talented athlete and played both high school and college football. He also participated in powerlifting and was State Champion in the heavy weight division his junior year of high school. During his childhood, Scott attended Trinity Lutheran Church and School and was involved in youth wrestling, baseball and also enjoyed snowboarding. Scott was also involved in his multigenerational family business (The Strait and Lamp Group) as a Truss Designer. He was born April 2, 1992 in Columbus, Ohio.
