According to Plain City Police reports:
An officer was sent to a “suspicious circumstance” on Church Street on March 1 at 11:21 p.m. After determining everything to be fine, the officer returned to patrol.
An officer responded to Village Boulevard for a well being check March 1 at 7:59 p.m. The officer asked the subject to give her husband’s phone number and she refused. The officer contacted the Dublin Police Department who sent an officer to the subject’s house. The husband arrived shortly after and picked up the subject.
An officer was met at the police department by a mother and son March 1 at 3 p.m. The mother told the officer that her son was acting up and that she couldn’t handle him anymore. The officer say down with the pair and resolved the issue.
An officer responded to the listed location in reference to a dispute on West Main Street March 1 at 12:54 p.m. Dispatch said two subjects at that location were involved in a verbal dispute with employees over money. Before the officer arrived, the subjects found the money in an envelope that was given to them by the employee. The officer warned the male subject of the possible consequences of if his actions continued.
During a patrol, an officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked on Nighthawk Drive near Alderwood Circle March 2 at 11:52 p.m. The officer contacted the driver and passenger, who were both juveniles out after curfew. The officer sent the male subject home and drove the female subject to her house.
Officers were sent to North Avenue to investigate a domestic dispute March 2 at 8:48 p.m. The officers placed Bruce Roark into custody for assaulting Brianna McNamara. Roark was charged for disorderly conduct for pushing a woman to the ground when she was trying to break up the fight. Christi Roark and McNamara were given summons for disorderly conduct for “mutually fighting in the roadway.”
Officers conducted a routine registration check on a blue dodge pickup that was westbound on West Main Street at South Jefferson Avenue March 2 at 4:18 p.m. The driver, Daniel Elick, was arrested for OVI and open container.
Officers responded to Dickens Lane for a well being check March 2 at 11:19 a.m.
An officer was sent to West Bigelow Avenue on March 2 at 2:11 a.m. after a caller said her daughter may be intoxicated and walking around outside. The officer checked the area but couldn’t locate her.
Officers were inside Lee’s Sports and Spirits and were told of an intoxicated male arguing and possibly trying to fight people in front of the business March 2 at 12:28 a.m. The male, Kenneth Huff, tried to drive away. Huff was arrested for OVI and open container.
An officer was sent to North Avenue March 3 at 5:10 p.m. for a civil standby.
An officer was sent to North Avenue to investigate a dispute March 3 at 3:40 p.m. Officers met with both subjects, who agreed to separate.
An officer responded to Route 161 March 3 at 6:16 to investigate livestock in the roadway. After arriving, the officer found that the livestock had been secured.
Officers were sent to North Avenue to investigate a fight March 3 at 1:56 a.m. All parties were told to separate.
An officer was flagged down on West Main Street March 4 at 8:06 p.m. The complainant said that his landlord changed the locks and has yet to give him a key. The officer said since he is the tenant, he has the right to enter the property. The officer also told the complainant that the landlord may seek restitution if he causes damage.
Officers responded to North Avenue in reference to a drug complaint March 4 7:21 p.m. Officers then made contact with the subject inside her residence.
Officers were met on station by a complainant and male subject March 4 at 6:12 p.m. The officer advised male subject to contact an attorney if he wanted to dispute the use of his truck by the complainant.
An officer responded to Shepper Avenue to investigate suspicious circumstances March 4 at 2:18 p.m. The caller claimed she had received a suspicious check days earlier.
During patrol, an officer saw a white Chrysler van parked near NAPA Auto Parts on South Jefferson Avenue March 4 at 1:51 a.m. The subject said he was cleaning the building.
An officer was requested on U.S. 42 to assist the Union County Sheriff’s Office on a search of a vehicle during a traffic stop March 5 at 11:05 p.m.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street to investigate a domestic dispute March 5 at 8:43 p.m. Both parties agreed to remain separate for the rest of the night.
An officer responded to Converse Avenue to investigate a civil dispute March 5 at 5 p.m. The officer stood by while one of the subjects removed the rest of his property from the residence.
An officer saw a marooned Mitsubishi SUV on a Gay Street driveway on March 6 at 9:05 p.m. The owner was not listed on the key holder list. The officer contacted the resident owner, who said he didn’t know who it belonged to. The vehicle’s owner was asked to move it, which she didn’t without incident.
An officer was sent to North Chillicothe Street for a well being check March 6 at 1:30 p.m. The officer got the phone number of the subject and spoke to him, and determined him to be fine.
An officer responded to South Jefferson Avenue March 7 at 7:11 p.m. to investigate a suspicious person or vehicle. The officer searched the area and didn’t find the vehicle.
Officers were sent to North Avenue March 7 at 2:43 p.m. to investigate a domestic dispute. The officer met with both subjects who were outside. Both parties were told to act civilly and gave them a warning.
