According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of lost property in the 300 block of N. Main Street at 9:53 a.m. Wednesday. The complainant reported the loss of one 14K gold earring with a diamond and blue sapphire. She believes the item was lost on Dec. 10.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 100 block of Butternut Drive at 3:34 p.m. Wednesday. A female reported that she believes a family member committed tax fraud.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Diana Sue Robbins, 66, of Richwood and Judy Ann Bilbee, 62, of Paver Barnes Road that occurred on Delaware Avenue at Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 2:08 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Robbins was in the right, right-turn lane, attempting to turn onto Delaware Avenue from Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. Bilbee was in the left, right-turn lane. Once the turn was complete, Robbins attempted to enter the left lane and struck Bilbee’s vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Robbins was cited for not driving in marked lanes.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Benjamin Adam Hoyer, 36, of Arabian Circle and William Arthur Culbertson, 25, of Dove Street that occurred on U.S. 33 at Delaware Avenue at 5:39 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Hoyer struck Culbertson’s vehicle while they were merging onto U.S. 33 westbound from Delaware Avenue.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Greenfield Drive in Milford Center to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 11:36 a.m. Wednesday. The parties were separated.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 22000 block of Route 31, a deputy arrested Allen E. Vogelsang, 44, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant from the City of Columbus at 12:33 p.m. Wednesday. He was transferred to the custody of a Columbus Police Department officer.
Deputies and units from the Southeast Hardin Northwest Union Fire District responded to the intersection of Yoakum Road and Shertzer Road for an injury crash involving a 2021 Mack Truck that was struck by a 2001 Mercury Sable at 2:01 p.m. Wednesday. One victim was treated at the scene. The driver of the Mack truck, Devan J. Vanderpool, 18, of Richwood was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.
A deputy was dispatched to the 15000 block of Hillview Road to investigate an aggressive dog complaint at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Sara M. Johnson, 38, of Marysville for a probation violation at 4:13 p.m. Wednesday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
