According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 900 block of Lora Lee Drive at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate the reporting person saw a suspicious person on his porch on security camera footage.
Police responded to a report of theft by deception in the 500 block of Amrine Mill Road at 4:34 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Mark D. Marmon, 67, of Zanesfield and Solene Rivera Galarza, 27, of Menasha, Wisconsin that occurred on U.S. 33 at Scottslawn Road at 7:41 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate the rear end of Galarza’s vehicle was struck by Marmon while she was stopped and waiting in traffic at the intersection of U.S. 33 and Scottslawn Road. No injuries were reported. Reports did not include any citations.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Troy C. Burgess, 25, of Ashley for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:11 a.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 32000 block of Route 31 to investigate a vehicle break-in at 6:18 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to the 14000 block of Route 347 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze that struck a deer at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies investigated a dog bite that occurred at a residence in the 29000 block of January Road at 11:21 a.m. Tuesday. The victim was treated at Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a social security scam at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Jason D. Thoburn, 45, of Canal Winchester for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:14 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to Route 347 near White Stone Road to investigate a property damage crash involving an unknown vehicle that struck a horse and then left the scene at 7:44 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Jesse A. Hosking, 36, of Delaware for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:58 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Dana D. Dyer, 43, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
