According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Jesus Monroy, 35, of Columbus was cited for vandalism of a business property at an unlisted location at 2:42 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an April 1, 2020 incident in which windows were reported broken on Cooks Blvd.
Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1500 block of Cowan Creek Drive at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The reporting person indicated an unknown individual took a gas can out of his garage.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 2000 block of Trophy Drive at 6:21 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to U.S. 42 near Route 736 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado that struck a deer at 7:02 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 19000 block of Springdale Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday.
While on patrol, a deputy stopped to check a suspicious 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt that pulled into a driveway in the 19000 block of Sabine Bigelow Road at 9:37 a.m. Wednesday. After further investigation, deputies arrested a passenger, Trisha S. Edwards, 33, of West Jefferson for an outstanding arrest warrant from Madison County. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. The driver, Christopher J. Cook, 25, of Richwood was issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 34000 block of Dutton Love Road to investigate a fraudulent unemployment claim that was filed using the victim’s personal information at 1:38 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies investigated a child abuse complaint that occurred a residence in the 22000 block of Route 739 at 6:28 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Plain City Police Department and the Dublin Police Department were dispatched to a business in the 8600 block of Memorial Drive to investigate a possible trespassing complaint at 6:46 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 7500 block of Nature Way to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and a girlfriend at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday. As a result of the investigation, Michael S. Decker, 55, of Hilliard was arrested for using weapons while intoxicated and violating a protection order. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
