According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Amber E. Baldridge, 31, of Magnetic Springs was arrested for theft in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 9:29 p.m. Wednesday.
Brent Tylor Herriott, 28, of Orchard Road was arrested for theft in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 9:32 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate the arrest of Herriott and Baldridge stemmed from an incident at Wal-Mart in which asset protection caught a male and female attempting to leave the store with merchandise that was not paid for.
Police responded to a report of theft of a motor vehicle in the 200 block of W. Seventh Street at 4:52 p.m. Wednesday. The reporting person stated he was arrested on Dec. 30, so he asked a friend to take the vehicle so that it was not towed. The vehicle has not yet been returned to the owner.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to a property damage crash in the 13000 block of Maple Ridge Road involving a 2012 Honda Accord that struck a deer at 6:07 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy went to Marion County, Indiana to take custody of Terry A. Smith, 47, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 overpass at Beecher Gamble Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 1996 International tractor trailer hauling a load of metal that struck the overpass at 10:22 a.m. Wednesday. Metal from the semi-trailer then struck a 2019 Ford F-550 that was driving on U.S. 33. The driver of the International, Kevin C. Ward, 54, of Dayton was issued a traffic citation for operating a vehicle with an insecure load. The Ohio Department of Transportation was called to the scene to inspect the bridge.
A deputy met with a resident from the 16000 block of Myers Road to investigate several fraudulent checks that were received at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to Route 347 east of Claibourne Road for an injury crash involving a 1995 Honda Odyssey that struck a 1980 International Tractor at 4:27 p.m. Wednesday. The driver of the Honda, Connor J. Young, 21, of Richwood was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 17000 block of West Darby Road to investigate a property line dispute between neighbors at 5:06 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Emelia Place for a domestic dispute involving several family members at 5:28 p.m. Wednesday.
