According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Adam Mackenzie Bowen, 30, of E. Fourth Street was arrested for obstructing official business in Marion at 5:16 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate officers responded to a dispute and the suspect gave a false name and left the scene.
Jeffrey Hunter Filippi, 19, of Bay Laurel Drive was arrested for illegal use of possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia in the 1600 block of Cobblestone Way at 10:42 a.m. Friday.
Bret M. Collins, 20, of Gallop Lane was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 600 block of Gallop Lane at 6:34 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of theft on N. Maple Street at 11:29 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Sprint reported the delivery of stolen cell devices being sent to addresses in Marysville.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 12:13 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a purse was found at The Coffee Hall and Creamery.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Wendy A. Fisher, 34, of Plain City that occurred on Industrial Parkway at Scottslawn Rd at 7:57 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Fisher was heading southeast on Industrial Parkway when a deer emerged from the wooded area to the east side of the roadway and crossed directly in front of her vehicle. Fisher struck the deer.
Jeffrey Raymond Merle, 49, of W. Fourth Street was arrested for disorderly conduct – intoxicated or creating risk of harm in the 200 block of W. Fourth Street at 3:27 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Merle was found walking on W. Fourth Street while intoxicated and was unable to find his residence. He was given a ride back to his residence by MPD. Once there, he shoved and tried to fight his roommate. He was then placed under arrest.
James Clay, 44, of 602 W. Fourth Street was arrested for an FRA/non-compliance suspension in the 500 block of London Avenue at 11:17 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Clay was stopped and cited for driving under a suspended license. His driver’s license was also confiscated.
Police responded to assist another agency at 12:36 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate MPD assisted Ohio State Highway Patrol with a vehicle pursuit into the city.
Police responded to a suicide threat in the 1500 block of Sassafras Lane at 10:53 a.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 13800 block of Fairway Drive at 12:08 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate coins were taken from a residence.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 500 block of Grace Drive at 12:02 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate MPD was dispatched in reference to an identity theft complaint.
Police responded to a report of menacing in the 100 block of Emmaus Road at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Nayrody Nohemi Pena Calderon, 32, of Plain City was arrested for no operator’s license in the 13000 block of Route 38 at 8:38 a.m. Sunday.
Police responded to reports of juvenile offenses, no operator’s license and curfew violation in the 500 block of N. Maple Street at 12:55 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate a subject was found to be in violation of curfew on a traffic stop.
Police responded to a report of passing a stopped school bus in the 500 block of Amrine Mill Road at 10:47 a.m. Sunday.

Deputies checked a person riding a bicycle on Route 4 near Collins Road at 9:03 a.m. Friday. After further investigation, Seth J. Hall, 35, of Marysville was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy took custody of Marcus D. Warren, 23, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at the Union County Courthouse at 9:04 a.m. Friday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to the intersection of Route 4 and Payne Road for a property damage crash involving a 2000 Kenworth semi-truck that struck a 2014 Chevrolet Express at 11:55 a.m. Friday. The driver of the Chevrolet, Cody N. Crego, 25, of Columbus was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way when turning left.
A deputy went to the Multi-County Jail in Marion to take custody of Dustin J. Redmon, 28, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:45 p.m. Friday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 10000 block of Jerome Road to investigate a dispute between a male and a female at 3:03 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Officer to take custody of Megan L. P. Brooks, 36, of Bellefontaine for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:08 p.m. Friday. She was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 11000 block of Wasserbeck Road to investigate damage caused by someone mud running at 4:14 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Officer to take custody of Bret M. Collins, 20, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 5:40 p.m. Friday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to Springdale Road north of Black Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Ford Fusion that struck a deer at 6:05 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to Wheeler Green Road near Broadway Road for an injury crash involving a 2018 Cadillac XTS that struck a 2000 Ford Contour at 8:41 p.m. Friday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital and a crash report was taken.
A deputy responded to Hyland Croy Road south of Johnston Drive to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Hyundai Tucson that struck a deer at 9:12 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a residence on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a civil dispute involving the towing of three vehicles at 10:49 p.m. Friday.
Deputies assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a vehicle pursuit involving a stolen 2013 Hyundai Elantra that began on U.S. 33 at 12:33 a.m. Saturday. The pursuit ended at Route 38 and Sam Reed Road.
As a result of a traffic stop on Scottslawn Road near Weaver Road, deputies arrested Jody L. Bocook, 47, of Columbus for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 2:37 a.m. Saturday. A passenger in the vehicle, Fernando Marchan, 38, of Pickerington was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Franklin County. The female was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and the male was transferred to the custody of a Franklin County deputy.
A deputy met with a resident from the 18000 block of Route 47 to investigate a fraudulent check that was received and chased at 9:55 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy investigated criminal mischief involving a sign at a residence in the 15000 block of U.S. 36 at 4:22 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District were dispatched to a residence on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs for a domestic fight involving multiple family members at 6:55 p.m. Saturday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Randall E. Kooser, 51, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:35 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near Brock Road, a deputy arrested Dalton J. Russell, 25, of Easley, South Carolina for operating a vehicle while under the influence and endangering children at 12:51 a.m. Sunday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 15000 block of Hunters Run to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 2:45 a.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to an abandoned business in the 10000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate damage to the building at 1:15 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 9000 block of Tartan Fields Drive to investigate a dog bite involving a juvenile at 4:08 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 18000 block of Yoakum Road to investigate a dispute between a father and a daughter at 4:24 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy responded to Hyland Croy Road south of Johnston Drive to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Nissan Versa that struck a deer at 10:21 p.m. Sunday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Terry Wood, 64, of Raymond was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and not using turn signals on W. Fifth Street at S. Main Street at 12:26 a.m. Friday.
Fredrick Davern, 66, of Cable was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to control on Route 245 at 5:38 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Davern was traveling eastbound on Route 245 near mile marker 1 when he lost control, crossed the center line and ran off the left side of the road before he struck a utility pole. He experienced suspected minor injuries and was transported to Memorial Hospital by Northeast Champaign.
