Sharrod Damieme Taylor, 48, of Columbus was arrested for theft in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 8:27 p.m. Monday. Taylor reportedly had an active warrant.
Brian Edward Legg Sr., 54, of Columbus was arrested for theft in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 8:30 p.m. Monday. Legg Sr. reportedly had an active warrant. He and Taylor reportedly stole a car carrier trailer from McAuliffe’s Ace Hardware.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 1500 block of Bay Laurel Drive at 3:01 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of forgery in the 1600 block of Cobblestone Way at 5:09 p.m. Monday. The reporting person indicated she was paid with a counterfeit $20 bill.

Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department were dispatched to a residence on West State Street in Milford Center to investigate a dispute between two males at 2:22 a.m. Friday. As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested Cole A. Duncan, 21, of Urbana for persistent disorderly conduct. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and a Richwood Police Department officer were sent to a residence in the 32000 block of Route 37 to investigate a dispute between a husband and wife over a vehicle at 8:20 a.m. Friday.
A deputy went to a residence in the 12000 block of Watkins Road to investigate a possible identity theft involving a fraudulent unemployment claim at 8:39 a.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to the 15000 block of Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee that drove off the roadway and struck a utility pole at 8:46 a.m. Friday.

Deputies and units from the Marysville Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to U.S. 33 near Beecher Gamble Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse that was struck by ice that fell off of a passing 2015 Kenworth semi-tractor and trailer at 9:16 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 26000 block of Lunda Road to investigate the report of an assault at 1:35 a.m. Saturday. As a result of the investigation, William D. Fordyce, 34, of Marysville was arrested for assault and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to the 12000 block of Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Smart car that struck a fence at 6:42 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy assisted a trooper from the Ohio State Highway Patrol in investigation a property damage crash that occurred on U.S. 33 near Route 245 at 7:43 a.m. Saturday. The OSHP handled the report.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Dayton Avenue in Raymond to investigate a trespassing complaint involving subjects riding snowmobiles on the property without permission at 4:48 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of Santa Barbara Drive to investigate an identity theft complaint involving a fraudulent unemployment claim at 5:56 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Springdale Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 6:19 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department and the Northern Union County Joint Fire and EMS District were dispatched to Route 4 near Langstaff Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2004 Honda Civic that struck a ditch at 10:11 p.m. Saturday. As a result of the investigation, Rachel M. Dunbar, 27, of Richwood was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence, failure to control and driving under suspension. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Joint Fire District responded to a residence in the 25000 block of Neel Road for a person who attempted to harm themselves at 8:31 a.m. Sunday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.

Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department, the Marysville Fire Department, the Northwestern Joint Fire District, the Union Township Fire Department, the Northeast Champaign County Fire District and the Emergency Management Agency responded to a residence in the 17000 block of Allen Center Road for a barn fire at 1:50 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 7000 block of Club Park Drive to investigate a report of an unruly juvenile at 8:24 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 to investigate a theft of a credit card from a vehicle at 8:52 p.m. Sunday.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 21000 block of Route 31, deputies arrested Andrew J. Claybaugh, 34, of Bellefontaine for an outstanding arrest warrant from Champaign County at 1:20 a.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Indigo Drive to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulent unemployment claim at 3:35 p.m. Monday.
A deputy investigated a second incident of identity theft involving a fraudulent unemployment claim at a residence in the 10000 block of Indigo Drive at 4:44 p.m. Monday.
A deputy responded to the 20000 block of Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Honda Element that struck a deer at 6:57 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 26000 block of Sandusky Road for a person threatening self-harm at 9:48 p.m. Monday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
