Ryan Joseph Jones, 34, of S. Walnut Street was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol in the 1100 block of W. Fifth Street at 9:35 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate the subject was found in the drive-thru at Wendy’s.
Eric Michael White, 39, of S. Main Street was arrested for disorderly conduct – intoxicated annoyance or alarm in the 500 block of London Avenue at 10:25 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 500 block of W. Third Street at 1:15 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a Valentine’s Day greeting card containing a $40 Chipotle gift card and a $100 Victoria’s Secret gift card was mailed and present in a mailbox at 3 p.m. Feb. 16. The homeowner checked the mail on the evening of Feb. 17 and the card was missing.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 1200 block of Bay Laurel Drive at 1:52 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate unauthorized funds were taken out of a business account.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 600 block of S. Plum Street at 3:11 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a box of DVDs and CDs were left on the street outside a residence.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 100 block of Butternut Drive at 6:04 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a suicide threat at 7:46 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 700 block of S. Walnut Street at 11:31 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate MPD assisted Marysville Division of Fire on a call for service.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving three juveniles that occurred on N. Maple Street at Amrine Mill Rd at 9:11 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Unit 3 was on Amrine Mill Road at the intersection of N. Maple Street, in the left turn lane. Unit 2 was directly behind Unit 3 and Unit 1 was directly behind Unit 2. As Unit 3 made a left turn onto N. Maple Street, Unit 3 had to stop abruptly due to traffic. Unit 2 then came to a stop, but Unit 1 was not able to stop before striking Unit 2 in the rear. The force of the collision sent Unit 2 into Unit 3. No driver experienced any apparent injury. The driver of Unit 1 was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Christopher Lewis Brookman, 57, of Delaware was arrested for theft and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 8:56 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the arrest stemmed from an incident in which MPD was called to Wal-Mart in reference to a theft offense.
Police responded to a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a curfew violation in the 16000 block of Square Drive at midnight Saturday. Reports indicate MPD was called in reference to a stolen vehicle.
Police responded to a suicide attempt at 2:18 a.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1500 block of W. Fifth Street at 10:37 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a store employee located prescription medication in a shopping cart that was abandoned in the business parking lot.
Police responded to a suicide attempt in the 200 block of S. Maple Street at 9:21 p.m. Saturday.
Avery Lee Boone, 23, of Columbus was arrested for domestic violence – recklessly causing serious physical harm, criminal damaging or endangering and resisting arrest in the 500 block of Meadows Drive at 6:48 p.m. Sunday.
Zachary Corven, 25, of E. Fourth Street was arrested for no operator’s license in the 700 block of S. Walnut Street at 1:40 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 100 block of E. Sixth Street at 12:02 a.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of assault – knowingly harming the victim in the 100 block of Hillcrest Drive at 9:25 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate the reporting person stated there was an assault that occurred at Stephen’s Lounge.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 900 block of Van Kirk Drive at 5:48 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate a Motorola cell phone was found at Lewis Park.

Deputies responded to the 17000 block of White Stone Road to investigate a property damage crash involving an unknown vehicle that drove off the road and struck two mailboxes then left the scene at 4:38 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 24000 block of Route 347 to investigate the theft of keys and a wallet from two unlocked vehicles at 5:13 a.m. Friday.
A deputy went to the Auglaize County Jail to take custody of Jurode D. Jordan, 33, of Dayton for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:25 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies went to a residence in the 23000 block of Route 245 to assist representatives from the Union County Adult Protective Services with a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 12:36 p.m. Friday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 25000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road to investigate a possible scam involving an insurance policy at 3:16 p.m. Friday.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 10000 block of U.S. 42, a deputy arrested Caleb K. Loupe, 33, of Plain City for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 5:22 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy and officers from the Richwood Police Department were sent to a residence on South Franklin Street in Richwood to investigate a dispute over a dog at 7:51 p.m. Friday.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Officer with a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at a residence on Grove Street in Richwood at 9:08 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 24000 block of Darby Pottersburg Road for a person threatening self-harm at 11:51 p.m. Friday.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Shawn D. Hartman, 28, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:11 a.m. Saturday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to the 20000 block of Wolford Maskill Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Chevrolet Sonic that drove off the road, into a yard and struck a fence at 5:40 a.m. Saturday. The driver, Robin F. Bryant, 60, of Richwood was issued a traffic citation for failure to control a vehicle.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 14000 block of Route 47 to investigate the possible theft of horse equipment and a cashier’s check at 1:43 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Cunningham Arbela Road to resolve a dispute between former roommates at 2:03 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 161 and Cosgray Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2012 Dodge Avenger that struck the back of a 2005 Honda Pilot at 5:22 p.m. Saturday. The juvenile driver of the Dodge was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Route 31 to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 11:13 p.m. Saturday. The parties were separated.
Deputies assisted Richwood Police Officers with a domestic dispute at a residence on West Bomford Street in Richwood at 2:51 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies and units from the Pleasant Valley Fire District responded to the intersection of Burns Road and Robinson Road for a property damage crash involving a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt that drove off the road, into a ditch and then rolled over at 3:58 a.m. Sunday. After further investigation, the driver, Lorraine A. Petkau, 45, of Marysville was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the 9000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2020 Volvo XC90 that was struck from behind by a 2016 Honda Civic at 4 p.m. Sunday. The driver of the Honda, Hailey D. Roberts, 18, of Plain City was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies and a Plain City Police Officer were sent to a business in the 7300 block of Route 161 for an erratic driver in the parking lot at 11:59 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle was located and, after further investigation, the juvenile driver was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Central Ohio Youth Center.

Santos Porcayo-Porcayo, 36, of Columbus was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, no operator’s license and following too close on U.S. 33 eastbound at mile marker 24 Friday at 10:50 p.m.
