According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of domestic violence – knowingly causing physical harm in the 18000 block of Timber Lane at 2:11 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate a local male was taken into custody for an incident involving his girlfriend.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Jerome Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 Toyota Corolla that was struck by a 2019 Volvo semi-truck at 7:32 a.m. Monday. The driver of the Toyota, Hyun K. Kim, 50, of Dublin was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the 18000 block of Route 4 for a three-vehicle injury crash at 7:51 a.m. Monday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
A deputy met with a resident form the 19000 block of Delaware County Line Road to investigate the theft of money from a victim’s bank account at 10:33 a.m. Monday.
A deputy met with a Delaware Police Officer to take custody of Morgan D. Rutter, 23, of Sunbury for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:47 a.m. Monday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 7300 block of Trailview Drive at 2:02 p.m. Monday to investigate a domestic violence incident that occurred in the state of New York.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Dodge Sprinter that struck the back of a 2019 Honda Pilot, which caused the Pilot to strike the back of a 2016 Toyota Sienna at 4:16 p.m. Monday. The driver of the Dodge, Ian Williams, 22, of Plain City was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Officer with a domestic dispute at a residence in the 100 block of North Franklin Street at 11:22 p.m. Monday.
