According to Plain City Police Department reports:
Officers responded to Mike’s Pit Stop on West Main Street at 8 p.m. March 15 in reference to a mental health status change. After further investigation, Emmanuel Belville was placed under arrest for physical control and transported to the police department. Belville was read the BMV 2255 form and submitted a urine test. Belville was then advised of his court date and released to a valid driver.
An officer was dispatched to Converse-Huff Road at 7 a.m. for a driving complaint. The officer patrolled the area but was unable to locate the vehicle. Dispatch advised the caller was no longer behind the wheel.
Officers observed a white Maserati parked at Plain City Barbell on South Jefferson Avenue at 1:37 a.m. March 14. The vehicle was there with its lights on for several minutes without moving. The officer determined everything to be O.K.
Officers were dispatched to East West Avenue at 12:26 p.m. March 14 for a report of gunshots heard in the area. Dispatch advised officers that hunters were shooting guns just east of the village in Madison County. The officer made contact with the callers to advise them that just east of town hunters were shooting, and that is what the reporting people were hearing.
Officers responded to the corner of Gay Street and West Avenue at 7:22 p.m. March 14 for a juvenile complaint. The officers escorted the juvenile back to his residence.
Police responded to Pioneer Pizza on North Chillicothe Street for an open door at 3:59 a.m. March 13.
A Union County Sheriff’s Office deputy and a PCPD officer went to Route 161 to arrest Kevin Thompson on a warrant at 3:28 p.m. March 13. Thompson reportedly had three warrants for felony failure to comply and two misdemeanor counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, all out of the Madison County Common Pleas Court. The officer made contact with Thompson and placed him into custody without incident. The officer transported him to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Officers responded to Country View Lane at 3:22 p.m. March 13, having previous knowledge that Samuel Collins had an entered warrant for his arrest out of Marysville Municipal Court for failure to appear in court for a probation violation. Collins was taken into custody without issue. He was then transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Police responded to an alarm drop at Middlefield Bank on South Jefferson Avenue at 12:29 p.m. March 13.
Police responded to an alarm drop on Converse Drive at 8:51 a.m. March 13.
An officer responded to Converse Drive at 7:58 a.m. March 13 for a medical alarm and fire alarm. The officer determined everything to be O.K.
Police responded to a report of an open door at Plain City Self Storage on Carlisle Avenue at 12:12 a.m. March 12.
An officer made contact with a vehicle owner who had parked his white Chevrolet van on a no-name alley near West Bigelow Avenue at 4:04 p.m. March 12. The van was parked off the roadway, but the vehicle obstructed the view into the intersection. The vehicle owner moved the vehicle without incident.
An officer met with a complainant at the police department at 3:39 p.m. March 12. The complainant advised the officer that she was in a road rage incident just prior to the officer’s arrival. The officer attempted to make contact with the subject but was unable to do so. The subject was left a voicemail.
An officer was dispatched to Mike’s Pit Stop on West Main Street in reference to a drive-off at 8 a.m. March 12. The officer then made contact with the suspect, who apologized and advised it was an accident. The suspect stated that she would immediately go pay for the fuel. The officer confirmed that the fuel was paid for.
Officers responded to an open door at The Ball House on West Bigelow Avenue at 12:23 a.m. March 12.
An officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office to respond with a deputy to Carter’s Mill Road at 11:57 p.m. March 12 in reference to a possible burglary or prowler.
Officers responded to South Jefferson Avenue at 7:43 p.m. March 10 for a suspicious person in a vehicle at the listed location.
Police responded to an open door at Taylor Autobody on West Main Street at 6:46 p.m. March 10.
Officers were dispatched to Old Route 161 for a disabled vehicle at 3:57 p.m. March 10. Officers assisted with traffic control until an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper arrived on the scene.
An officer observed a black Chevrolet Silverado parked in a no-parking area on Fanshell Drive at 3:47 p.m. March 10. The truck was moved.
An officer responded to an alarm drop at Hydro Spray Car Wash on Village Blvd. at 3:13 p.m. March 10.
Police responded to an open door at She Stages Columbus on North Chillicothe Street at 11:38 p.m. March 9.
A complainant came into the police department at 6:12 p.m. March 9 to speak with an officer about her identity being stolen. The complainant was advised to contact and report the incident to the Attorney General, Credit Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission.
A complainant contacted an officer via public service at 6:02 p.m. March 9 in reference to an identity theft. The officer advised the complainant to file a report with the Attorney General and keep an eye on her bank account and credit score for any other suspicious claims under her name and social security number.
Officers responded to Dogwood Court for a domestic dispute at 4:37 p.m. March 9. The situation was deescalated.
While on routine patrol, an officer observed a bag of unknown contents that was a road hazard at the intersection of U.S. 42 and Village Blvd. at 3:37 p.m. March 9. The roadway was cleared.
