Deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department, Northern Union County Joint Fire and EMS District and the Marysville City Fire Department responded to Route 4 at Route 347 to investigate an injury crash involving a 2012 International semi-tractor and trailer that struck a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Thursday at 6:31 a.m. The driver of the semi, Nicholas D. L. Simpson, 24, of Cable, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department and the Allen Township Fire Department responded to the 25000 block of Route 739 to investigate an injury crash involving a 2013 BMW R1200GS motorcycle that struck a deer Thursday at 6:59 a.m. One person was taken to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy responded to the 23000 block of Rogers Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Honda Accord that struck a deer Thursday at 7:10 a.m.
A deputy investigated a report of harassment at a residence in the 23000 block of Route 37 Thursday at 11:17 a.m.
A deputy responded to a residence in the 7500 block of Greenridge Loop to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Chevrolet Express that struck a parked 2015 Ford F-350 Thursday at 12:03 p.m. The driver of Chevrolet, Leivys R. Palma, 44, of Columbus, was issued a traffic citation for driving without a driver’s license.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Police Department were sent to a residence in the 14000 block of Payne Road to investigate a dispute over custody and a vehicle Thursday at 12:22 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to a property in the 19000 block of Pine Lane to investigate a break-in and criminal damage at a vacant residence Thursday at 4:43 p.m.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near the eastbound rest area Thursday at 5:12 p.m., Justin M.L. Tucker, 19, of Columbus, was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of marijuana.
Deputies along with agents from the Ohio Investigative Unit witnessed the sale of alcohol to an underage person in the 23000 block of Route 4 Thursday at 5:54 p.m. Gina M. Tripp, 58, of Richwood, was issued a citation for sale of alcohol to an underage person.
