According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses in the 1900 block of Pony Place at 8:38 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a 12-year-old female ran away from home and was found at a friend’s house.
Police responded to a report of burglary in the 700 block of E. Fourth Street at 10:17 a.m. Thursday. The reporting person indicated she believes someone has been entering her home and stealing things.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 1000 block of Watkins Glen Court at 10 a.m. Thursday. The reporting person stated that someone used her PayPal account to make purchases.
Police responded to a report of drug abuse in the 800 block of Catalpa Place at 11:24 a.m. Thursday. MPD was advised of a juvenile who had medications that did not belong to him.
Police responded to a report of criminal trespassing in the 14000 block of Scottslawn Road at 2:22 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate individuals from a business advised of a “run-in” with suspicious males on their property.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies investigated an attempted burglary of a residence in the 25000 block of Patrick Brush Run Road at 7:50 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to the roundabout on Route 161 at Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2020 Nissan NV200 that was struck by a 2017 Ford F-150 at 9:39 a.m. Thursday. The driver of the Ford, Mark E. Parish, 71, of New Philadelphia was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 13000 block of Route 347 to investigate a domestic dispute between a mother and son at 11:52 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper to take custody of Allen E. Vogelsang, 45, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:57 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A Union County deputy met with a Franklin County deputy to take custody of Jason B. Hoover, 42, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:04 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
