An officer arrived to Red Knot Court at 1:03 p.m. March 29 for an identity theft. The complainant advised she had already filed a claim with the Department of Job and Family Services. The officer advised complainant to file a claim with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office as well.

An officer responded to Lantern Lane at 11:20 a.m. March 29 for a parking complaint. The officer made contact with vehicle owner via public service and the vehicle owner advised the subject was currently borrowing her vehicle. The officer made contact with the subject and advised him that neighbors have reported the vehicle hasn’t moved in over a week. The subject advised that he would move the vehicle either tonight or tomorrow.

An officer responded to the Madison Square Apartments on Fairfield Drive at 2:16 p.m. March 30 for a vandalism complaint. Upon arrival, the complainant’s silver Dodge Ram was parked next to the dumpster at the listed location and had dried ketchup on the windshield. The officer advised complainant to notify PCPD if any other information becomes available or if it happens again.
An officer was dispatched to the Dollar General on Cottonwood Court at 9:22 p.m. March 31 in reference to a possible domestic violence incident. After determining everything to be fine, the officer returned to patrol.
An officer responded to a farm field/wooded area near U.S. 36 at the request of the Union County Sheriff’s Office at 9:11 p.m. March 31. UCSO requested the officer’s K9 partner, Andor, complete a track/patrol route to attempt to locate a suspect.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 8:04 p.m. March 31 in reference to a hit-skip crash.
An officer met with a complainant at the police department at 7:50 p.m. March 31 in reference to a loose dog complaint. A short time later, the officer met with the suspect and advised the suspect of the complaint. The suspect was warned for animals running at large and the leash law.
While on routine patrol on South Chillicothe Street at 4:33 p.m. March 31, an officer observed a white Chevrolet pickup parked on the side of the road. The subject was attempting to change a tire. The officer attempted to assist the driver, but the officer and subject could not get the truck’s spare off. The subject advised that he would call someone to bring him additional tools to assist with the repair. The subject was not obstructing traffic so the officer returned to patrol.
An officer along with a Union County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to Guy Street at 1:45 p.m. March 31 for an unruly juvenile. The mother advised she wanted unruly charges to be filed for her daughter.
An officer responded to Converse Avenue at 10:55 a.m. March 31 for a cardiac arrest.
Police responded to an alarm drop at Carlisle Gifts on South Jefferson Avenue at 8:50 a.m. March 31.
An officer conducted a routine registration check on a dark green Ford F150 on U.S. 42 at 3:01 p.m. April 1 and learned the registered owner, Jacob McClure, was a suspended driver. McClure was subsequently issued a citation for no valid operator’s licenses and non-compliance suspension. His vehicle was towed to the PCPD Impound Lot. The officer then returned to patrol. McClure’s vehicle’s registration was seized, per BMV request.
An officer was advised by a complainant that she observed a trash truck employee urinate on the roadway near North Avenue at 3:32 p.m. April 1. The officer later made contact with the suspect, who advised that he urinated between the tires of the vehicle. The officer advised the suspect of the severity of the consequences if he was seen exposed.
While on routine patrol on South Jefferson Avenue at 11:57 p.m. April 2, an officer observed a red Jeep Cherokee parked in a parking spot at Route 42 Bargains after hours. The officer determined everything to be fine.
An officer was dispatched to Carriage Drive at 8:51 a.m. April 2 in reference to a well-being check.
An officer was dispatched to Church Street at 11:50 a.m. April 2 in reference to a possible trespasser. The caller observed someone walking through their yard. Upon arrival, the officer checked the area but was unable to locate anyone. The caller requested extra patrol for the duration of the evening.
An officer initiated a traffic stop on a 2005 white Chevy truck on Lafayette Plain-City Road at 3:43 p.m. April 2 and made contact with the registered owner, Taylor Snyder. Snyder had an active and confirmed warrant out of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on an Ohio Department of Natural Resources charge. Snyder was placed into custody for the warrant and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
An officer initiated a traffic stop with a green Saturn Ion on South Jefferson Avenue at 7:16 p.m. April 2 and made contact with the driver, Areca McCoy. McCoy was subsequently issued a citation for no operator’s license. Once McCoy and her vehicle were dropped off, both units returned to patrol.
An officer observed a black Nissan conduct an illegal U-turn in the intersection of Cooper Lane and Hawthorne Drive at 8:40 p.m. April 2. An officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Conner Shop. Shop had multiple entered warrants for his arrest out of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office for criminal trespass (M4), attempted breaking and entering (M1) and criminal damaging (M2). Shop was transported to the Clydesdale’s restaurant on U.S. 42 and released to a Delaware County Sheriff’s Office deputy. Shop was given a verbal warning for the illegal U-turn.
An officer initiated a traffic stop with a silver 2006 Chrysler van on Route 161 at midnight April 2 and made contact with the registered owner, Ansley Hendrickson, who had a suspended license. Hendrickson was subsequently charged for drug abuse instruments and a citation for no valid operator’s license and non-compliance suspension. The vehicle was towed to the PCPD impound lot.
Police were dispatched to a report of an open door at a vacant building on West Main Street at 11:39 p.m. April 2.

An officer initiated a traffic stop with a red Chevrolet Colorado on South Chillicothe Street at 1:03 p.m. April 3 and made contact with the driver, Ryan Breckner. Breckner was charged with failure To reinstate, driving without a driver’s license and for possessing alcohol while under the age of 21 without a guardian present. The resident at the listed location, a valid driver, agreed to park Breckner’s vehicle.
An officer responded to North Avenue at 3:19 p.m. April 3 in reference to a civil standby.
An officer responded to West South Street at 6:27 p.m. April 3 in reference to a 911 unknown. The officer found everything to be fine.
A complainant came into the police department to file a theft report on Village Blvd. at 11:48 p.m. April 3. The complainant stated that her ex-boyfriend had taken many of her belongings while she was in jail. The investigation is currently pending.
An officer was on patrol on Willow Creek Court at 3:10 a.m. April 3 and observed the rear hatch on a white 2020 Honda Odyssey open. The officer secured the hatch.
An officer responded to Pleasant Valley Joint Fire District on West Main Street at 5:14 p.m. April 4 at the request of the Union County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a prisoner transport.
An officer responded to Marathon/GB Power on West Main Street at 4:10 p.m. April 4 in reference to a driving complaint. The officer made contact with the vehicle’s driver and detected no sign of impairment.
