According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Steve Carpenter, 49, of Navin Road was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 1200 block of E. Fifth Street at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of E. Eighth Street at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate employees from Dollar General advised a female has been taking bottles of wine from the store without paying for them.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 800 block of W. Fourth Street at 8:37 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate MPD was called in reference to a dispute between neighbors.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies responded to U.S. 33 near Scottslawn Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2010 Honda Civic that struck a deer at 1:08 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 7600 block of Corporate Boulevard to investigate the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle at 9:27 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies investigated a domestic dispute between a grandfather and grandson that occurred at a residence in the 13000 block of U.S. 36 at 10:51 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were sent to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a dispute between a resident and the zoning inspector at 12:34 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy and units from the Plain City Police Department were sent to Route 161 near Unionville Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife that occurred in a vehicle at 1:07 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy went to the Multi-County Jail in Marion to take custody of Amanda J. Johnson, 33, of Lima and Bryan M. Baker, 40, of Richwood for outstanding arrest warrants at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday. They were transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies investigated a domestic argument that occurred at a residence in the 20000 block of Dog Leg Road between a husband and wife at 2:19 p.m. Tuesday. As a result of the investigation, Jarrod L. Holt, 39, of Marysville was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Leeper Perkins Road to investigate threatening text messages that were received at 4:13 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was sent to Collins Road near Middleburg Plain City Road to take possession of a pellet gun that was found along the side of the road at 9:18 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate fraudulent checks and a cash transfer scam at 11:52 p.m. Tuesday.
