Joseph M. Dauer, 57, of Columbus was cited for driving under financial responsibility law suspension on Delaware Avenue at U.S. 33 at 12:23 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of criminal damaging/endangering in the 800 block of Lone Rise Drive at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a white Dodge Dakota was damaged.
Police responded to a report of criminal damaging/endangering on Fifth Street at 11:04 a.m. Wednesday. The reporting person indicated a flower pot was damaged.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 1800 block of Fawn Meadow Drive at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday. The reporting person indicated “suspicious activity” with their computer.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to the intersection of Hyland Croy Road and Post Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 Lexus ES350 that was struck from behind by a 2007 Honda Accord at 6:46 a.m. Wednesday. The driver of the Honda, Praful Patel, 75, of Dublin was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 6000 block of Kile Road to investigate a harassment complaint at 10:49 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department responded to the 12000 block of Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Kia Optima that drove off the road and struck a mailbox at 2:42 p.m. Wednesday. The driver, Kayla D. Hill, 30, of Milford Center was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department and the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence in the 15000 block of Hillview Road for an unresponsive person with CPR in progress at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving an unknown vehicle that struck a mailbox and then left the scene at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Brock Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 International semi-truck and a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe at 3:54 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy investigated the possible theft of a wallet that occurred at a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 at 5:29 p.m. Wednesday. The wallet was located.
