According to Marysville Police Department reports:
David Franklin Miller, 61, of North Maple Street was cited for complicity to aiding and abetting in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 1:57 p.m. Monday.
Susan Lynn Bradford, 39, of North Maple Street was cited for theft in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 2:01 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate her and Miller’s citation stemmed from an April 22 incident in which CVS Pharmacy reported a theft of merchandise.
Police responded to a report of drug abuse in the 100 block of North Main Street at 4:14 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate an individual was found to be in possession of drugs and drug abuse instruments.
Police responded to a report of burglary in the 200 block of W. Third Street at 5:16 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of E. Eighth Street at 7:22 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of menacing in the 700 block of South Walnut Street at 9:05 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate MPD was initially called in reference to a dispute.
Police responded to a report of soliciting in the 400 block of Bent Tree Drive at 9:42 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of a habitually disobedient person in the 200 block of Woodcrest Drive at 11:26 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate a female juvenile told her mom at 11:30 p.m. she was going for a 15-minute walk. A short time later, she texted her mother saying she would be home on May 5. That was the last communication she had with her mother. According to MPD, the juvenile has a history of unruly behavior. She was entered as a missing/runaway juvenile.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies responded to U.S. 33 near Barker Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Chrysler 200 that struck a deer at 4:13 a.m. Monday.
A deputy and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to Route 347 near Reed Road for a property damage crash involving a 2019 Ford F-150 that drove off the road and struck a utility pole at 10:55 a.m. Monday. OSHP investigated the crash.
Deputies and units from the Norther Union County Fire and EMS District and the Leesburg Township Fire Department responded to a property in the 27000 block of Route 37 for an injury crash involving a 2008 Honda all-terrain vehicle that struck a 1985 Chevrolet Silverado at 12:18 p.m. Monday. MedFlight was called to the scene and one victim was transported to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Officer to take custody of Steven W. Moore, 39, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:08 p.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 18000 block of Easton Road to investigate a property dispute between a father and son at 3:09 p.m. Monday.
A deputy and units from the Dublin Police Department investigated a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend that occurred on Post Road near Hyland Croy Road at 10:39 p.m. Monday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of an accident involving Joseph Schottelkotte, 62, of Raymond that occurred on Route 347 at 11:02 a.m. Monday. Reports indicate Schottelkotte was traveling eastbound on Route 347 when he experienced a medical condition and traveled off the left side of the roadway, reentered and traveled left of center off the left side. He then traveled back onto the roadway, left of center and off the right side of the roadway, striking a utility pole. He experienced minor injuries and was treated at the scene. He was wearing a seatbelt. No citations were issued.
Troopers responded to the scene of an accident involving Richard Walker, 68, of Russells Point and Allyson Cyphers, 30, of Lima that occurred at the intersection of Miami Drive and Route 366 at 12:32 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Walker was stopped at the intersection when Cyphers was traveling eastbound on Route 366, approaching Miami Drive. Walker failed to yield to Cyphers and his vehicle was struck by hers. Walker then traveled off the right side of the road. Both drivers claimed possible minor injuries. Walker was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
