According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Shane Nelson, 41, of W. Third Street was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 200 block of W. Third Street at 12:29 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 200 block of Woodcrest Drive at 3:28 a.m. Thursday. A reporting person indicated there was an unruly juvenile in the residence. Through the investigation at the scene, MPD learned that an incidence of domestic violence occurred earlier and the offender was taken into custody.
Jason E. Maynard, 45, of Van Kirk Drive was arrested on a warrant service arrest on Fourth Street at 3:28 a.m. Friday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and medics from the Liberty Township Fire Department were dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Main Street in Raymond to investigate a possible overdose at 12:34 a.m. Thursday. One person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was sent to a residence on Commercial Street in Milford Center to investigate a report of a 15-year-old male that ran away at 4:41 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was dispatched to U.S. 33 near Mitchell Dewitt Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Kia Optima that struck a deer at 7:47 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy went to a residence on Commercial Street in Milford Center to investigate a report of a person threatening self-harm at 9:24 a.m. Thursday. The person was transported to Maryhaven for evaluation.
A deputy met with an officer from the Columbus Police Department to take custody of Christopher Lynn Leonard, 28, of Sidney for an outstanding arrest warrant at 4:13 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2013 Audi A4 that struck a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado on Route 161 near Eiterman Road at 4:28 p.m. Thursday.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 11000 block of Bell Road, Eric D. Wilgus, 52, of Columbus was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving under suspension at 8:06 p.m. Thursday. The male was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a dispute between family members at 8:14 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy investigated a report of a threatening phone call received at a residence in the 20000 block of Paver Barnes Road at 8:53 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to the 25000 block of Route 37 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2010 Kia Sedona that struck a deer at 9:58 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy met with an officer from the Marysville Police Department to take custody of Jason E. Maynard, 45, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:16 p.m. The male was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Southeast Hardin Northwest Union Joint Fire District were dispatched to a residence in the 18000 block of Yoakum Road to investigate a report of a 25-year-old male with possible alcohol poisoning at 11:02 p.m. Thursday. The male refused to be transported.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of a minor injury crash involving John Jones, 54, of Lima that occurred on U.S. 33 near mile post 4 at 5:30 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Jones was traveling eastbound on U.S. 33 when he struck a deer. He experienced minor injuries and was taken to Memorial Hospital by Allen Township Fire and EMS. No citations were issued.
A trooper picked up masks at Battelle and delivered them to the Union County Emergency Management Agency.
