According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Robert D. Huffline Jr., 24, of Dogwood Drive was cited for theft in the 1200 block of E. Fifth Street at 6:51 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from a May 14 incident in which MPD responded to a theft in the 400 block of Wind Mil Drive.
Police responded to a missing person in the 500 block of W. Eighth Street at 4:51 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate a local woman reported her daughter missing. The mother’s vehicle was also missing from the garage. While the officer was on scene and speaking with the mother, the daughter arrived home, driving the vehicle registered to the mother. The daughter snuck out of the house without permission to go to her boyfriend’s house in North Lewisburg. The daughter does not have a driver’s license, she only has her temporary permit. She was gone between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.
Police responded to a report of recovered property on Route 4 at 33 westbound at 12:42 a.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 500 block of Rosehill Drive at 9:59 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the reporting person said items are missing from her residence.
Police responded to a report of theft and criminal damaging/endangering in the 400 block of E. Ninth Street at 5:46 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate MPD responded to a possible theft from a vehicle.
Steven Scott Perdue, 52, of Huntsville was cited for drug abuse on U.S. 33 at 12:37 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate the subject was stopped for a driving complaint. During the stop, he gave consent to search his vehicle and a white substance, believed to be heroin, was located.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 500 block of London Avenue at 12:09 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate the reporting person requested a well-being check.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 10:42 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate an individual stole video games and a video game console from Wal-Mart.
Police responded to a report of criminal damaging/endangering in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 10:59 a.m. Sunday. The reporting person advised that an unknown person damaged flowers she planted Saturday at her mother’s gravesite at Oakdale Cemetery.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 800 block of Lantern Drive at 2:21 p.m. Sunday. The reporting person stated her wallet was taken from her vehicle, which was parked in her driveway.
Police responded to a report of rape at 9:45 p.m. Sunday.

A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Christina M. Chapman, 32, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:05 a.m. Friday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
As a result of a traffic stop on Route 4 near U.S. 33, a deputy charged David E. Ferguson, Jr., 40, of having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle at 12:15 a.m. Friday.
Deputies and officers from the Dublin Police Department responded to Jerome Road near Manley Road for a person threatening self-harm at 1:08 a.m. Friday. The person was transported to a hospital by the Dublin Police.
Deputies assisted the Plain City Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol searching for suspects that fled on foot from a vehicle that was involved in a pursuit in Madison County at 8:48 a.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a resident from Greenfield Drive in Milford Center to investigate a fraudulent theft involving a federal jury duty scam at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
A deputy went to the Multi-County Jail in Marion to take custody of Michael E. Duncan II, 36, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:05 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy went to the Montgomery County Jail to take custody of Randy J. Chaney, 49, of Dayton for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:41 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Hoover Bault Road to investigate a possible fraudulent check that was received in the mail at 3:41 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 14000 block of Route 38 to investigate a fraudulent theft involving a motorcycle and an internet website at 4:45 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of Camarillo Circle to investigate an assault involving multiple juveniles at 6:43 p.m. Friday.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 42 near Watkins California Road, a deputy arrested Timothy R. Carpenter, 35, of New Albany for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 8:35 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were sent to a home under construction home in the 11000 block of Kingfisher Place to investigate the theft of construction equipment and tools at 10:22 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to the 21000 block of Route 31 to investigate damage to a 2018 Ford F-150 that was caused by a lawn mower at 11:18 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy and a Plain City Police Officer were dispatched to a residence in the 12000 block of Sugar Mill Lane to investigate a dispute between a male and female at 11:29 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 21000 block of Raymond Road to resolve a neighbor dispute at 12:04 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy went to the Stark County Jail to take custody of Apria G. Johnson, 32, of Canton for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:19 p.m. Saturday. She was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A Union County deputy met with a Franklin County deputy to take custody of Johnna A. Carter, 22, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:17 p.m. Saturday. She was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Brown School Road and Route 31 for an injury crash involving a 2019 Ford Edge and bicyclist at 7:04 p.m. Saturday. The driver of the Ford, Madison M. Gregg, 30, of Jenera was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy was sent to a property in the 17000 block of Yoakum Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 7:43 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to Sandusky Road near Kinney Pike for an injury crash involving a 2007 Saturn Ion that lost control, drove off the road and then rolled over at 8:42 p.m. Saturday. The driver, Cassidy A. Smith, 26, of Richwood was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 24000 block of Route 739 to investigate a trespassing complaint involving all-terrain vehicles at 10:24 p.m. Saturday.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 20000 block of Route 4, a deputy arrested Andrew J. LaPat, 21, of Irwin for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 10:40 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy was sent to a property in the 14000 block of Graham Jones Road to investigate a trespassing complaint involving all-terrain vehicles at 11:40 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a break-in and the theft of money at 10:16 a.m. Sunday.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2015 Toyota RAV4 and an unknown semi that occurred on Route 4 near U.S. 36 at 5:10 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to the 10000 block of Laguna Circle for several juveniles attempting to overturn a Port-A-John at a construction site at 10:06 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Grove Street in Richwood to investigate the possible theft of a rental payment at 10:27 p.m. Sunday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Three troopers assisted the West Jefferson Patrol Post in searching for a subject out of a pursuit Friday. The subject was found and arrested.
A trooper helped to deliver meals for Meals on Wheels in Logan and Champaign counties at 10 a.m. Friday.
Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash on U.S. 33 at mile post 24 at 10:07 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Shannon Weissling, 42, of Bluffton was traveling northwest on U.S. 33 when she struck a deer. She was wearing her seatbelt and did not experience any injuries. No citations were issued.
Troopers participated in a drive-by parade in conjunction with the Marysville Police Department and Marysville Division of Fire for a resident on Watkins Road.
Troopers assisted the Delaware Patrol Post with a hit-skip crash by contacting one of the subjects involved in the crash. The trooper requested the subject return to the scene of the crash.
A trooper assisted a disabled driver on U.S. 36 until their aid arrived.
Troopers participated in a drive-by parade in conjunction with MPD for a resident in Marysville.
Troopers responded to assist another agency on U.S. 33 at mile post 10. Reports indicate two troopers came across and assisted a disabled motorist who was traveling westbound when the vehicle’s left front tire blew, causing it to veer to the left into a concrete barrier wall. The vehicle continued on and came to rest in the median. While waiting with the driver for MPD, the vehicle caught fire. The troopers utilized their fire extinguishers to put out the fire that had started under the engine. The Marysville Division of Fire responded and took over the scene. MPD handled the report and troopers cleared the scene.
