Shane Nelson, 41, of W. Third Street was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 200 block of W. Third Street at 12:29 p.m. Thursday.
Lee Dennis, 31, of Chestnut Street was arrested for theft in the 1200 block of E. Fifth Street at 2:31 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 800 block of Lakeview Drive at 3:27 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate another agency advised of a stolen vehicle within MPD’s jurisdiction.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 600 block of Milford Avenue at 2:49 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate roommates were involved in a dispute and one was bitten by a dog.
Police responded to a report of drug abuse in the 900 block of W. Fifth Street at 10:07 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate an individual reported an overdose.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of Crottinger Road to resolve a personal property dispute at 7:37 a.m. Thursday.
While at a business in the 1000 block of U.S. 42, a deputy took custody of prescription medication that was found on the floor of the business at 9:38 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy arrested Kristina L. Burleson, 32, of Marysville for an outstanding warrant at the Union County Courthouse at 12:10 p.m. Thursday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 32000 block of Cobb Harriman Road to investigate the theft of a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle at 3:40 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 400 block of Railroad Street in Unionville Center to take possession of a cell phone that was involved in an internet purchase at 7:07 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to the U.S. 33 exit ramp to U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Freightliner semi-truck that struck a 2012 Ford Focus at 7:40 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy investigated a custody dispute that occurred at a residence in the 13000 block of U.S. 36 at 10:36 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Beecher Gamble Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Honda Civic that struck an animal at 11:43 p.m. Thursday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash on Route 4 near 1:09 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Charles Greene, 55, of Richwood was traveling south on Route 4 near Route 128 when he struck a deer. He did not experience any apparent injuries and was wearing his seatbelt. No citations were issued.
Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash on U.S. 33 at 2:47 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Brian Cunningham, 32, of Columbus was traveling southwest on U.S. 33 at mile post 18 when he struck a deer in the right lane. He did not experience any apparent injuries and was wearing his seatbelt. No citations were issued.
