Patricia N. Cogossi, 39, of Monteclair Court was cited for a dog or animal at large in the 1200 block of Monteclair Court at 3:14 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which the reporting person advised he was walking his dog when a neighbor’s dog escaped the yard and attacked him and his dog. The reporting person was slightly injured with no medic required.
Bryan Karl Trippett, 55, of West Palm Beach, Florida was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 9:51 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 1500 block of W. Fifth Street at 9:02 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of criminal damaging or endangering the 100 block of N. Main Street at 10:41 a.m. Friday. The reporting person indicated damage was done to a business’ mailbox that occurred sometime overnight.
Police conducted a death investigation in the 600 block of Wood Run at 2:56 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a female was found dead on arrival.
Police responded to a report of a dispute on W. Fifth Street at 9:21 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate an officer was flagged down by a female reporting that her boyfriend jumped out of a moving vehicle.
Dinh Van Nguyen, 51, of Columbus was arrested for criminal trespassing in the 1300 block of Woodline Drive at 6:14 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which MPD responded to the Adena Pointe neighborhood on a report of a suspicious male in a white Chevy truck who was seen entering a residence on Forest Edge Drive that was under construction. Nguyen was located and arrested.
Joseph Young, 22, of Pataskala was cited for driving without paying reinstatement fees in the 1400 block of W. Fifth Street at 4:19 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of a mental health issue in the 500 block of Allenby Drive at 10:52 a.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct and intoxication in the 500 block of W. Ninth Street at 10:35 p.m. Saturday. A reporting person reported an unknown male was banging on her front door.
Police responded to the scene of a crash involving Thomas L. Kruse, 80, of Grove Street that occurred in the 800 block of Delaware Avenue at 12:41 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate that Kruse was pulling into a parking spot at 825 Delaware Avenue when his foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas, causing him to strike the building. Reports indicate Kruse did not experience any apparent injuries. No citations are listed on the accident report.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Homer R. Viers, 94, of Hickory Drive that occurred on W. Third Street at N. Court Street at 7:06 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Viers was driving westbound on W. Third Street at N. Court Street when he fell asleep and drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a telephone pole. Reports indicate Viers experienced suspected minor injuries and was transported to Memorial Hospital by Marysville Division of Fire and EMS. No citations were listed on the accident report.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Brandon Dejuan Parker, 33, of Lakeview Drive and Zachary Richard Lowe, whose age was unlisted, of Lakeview Drive that occurred on Lakeview Drive at 11:46 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Lowe was parked unoccupied on the north side of the roadway, facing west. Parker was traveling eastbound in front of 811 Lakeview Drive, went left of center and struck Lowe’s vehicle on the driver’s side, front of the vehicle. Reports indicate neither person experienced any apparent injuries. Parker was under the influence of alcohol and arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 15000 block of U.S. 36 at 3:51 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate an unidentified male and female attempted to steal a generator from Tractor Supply Company.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Maria B. Velez, 20, of Hinton Mill Road, Denice L. Luscaleet, 66, of Richwood and a juvenile driver of Mcconnelsville that occurred on Ninth Street at London Avenue at 7:49 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Velez was driving eastbound on Ninth Street at London Avenue. Luscaleet was driving southbound on London Avenue, traveling through the intersection of Ninth Street. The juvenile was driving northbound on London Avenue, traveling through the intersection of Ninth Street. Velez was on the phone and ran the red light. She struck the vehicles of Luscaleet and the juvenile. Reports indicate Velez and Luscaleet did not experience any apparent injuries while the juvenile driver experienced possible injuries. All three drivers were treated at the scene by the Marysville Division of Fire and EMS. Velez was cited for failure to obey traffic signals.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Blue Silver, 65, of Bellefontaine and Tamara Smock, 56, of Milford Center that occurred on U.S. 33 at Route 4 at 7:26 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate both drivers were traveling eastbound on U.S. 33 at Route 4 in the left lane. Smock slowed to a stop on U.S. 33 due to police activity in the left lane ahead. Smock was unable to merge to the right lane due to traffic. Silver approached Smock from behind and was unable to stop. Silver rear-ended Smock. Reports indicate Silver did not experience any apparent injuries. Smock experienced suspected minor injuries and was transported to Memorial Hospital by the Marysville Division of Fire and EMS. Silver was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Mary F. Kitsmiller, 82, of School Street and Isaac Walton, 43, of Dog Leg Road that occurred on Delaware Avenue at U.S. 33 at 7:03 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Kitsmiller failed to obey the traffic signal at the U.S. 33 exit ramp heading westbound on Delaware Avenue. She ran the red light and struck the left front bumper of Walton, who was turning eastbound on Delaware Avenue from the U.S. 33 exit ramp. Kitsmiller had damage to the entire right side of her vehicle. Walton had minimal damage on the left front bumper. Reports indicate neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Kitsmiller was cited for failure to obey traffic signal indications.
Aida Madigan, 21, of Bellefontaine was cited for driving under OVI suspension in the 500 block of N. Main Street at 7:57 p.m. Monday.
Shavelle Denise Little, 32, of Valleyview was cited for disorderly conduct – fighting or threatening in the 15000 block of Carmel Drive at 10:48 p.m. Monday.
Jordan Little, 34, was cited for domestic violence in the 1500 block of Carmel Drive at 10:45 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 500 block of Mill Wood Blvd. at 12:28 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 400 block of E. Seventh Street at 8:51 p.m. Monday.

Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash at 7:25 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Ahmad Sear Rahimi, 27, of Columbus was traveling westbound on U.S. 33 at mile post 15 when he struck a deer. He was wearing his seatbelt and did not experience any apparent injuries. No citations were issued as a result of the accident.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop at 8:20 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Nicholas Clark, 31, of Lakeview was driving southbound on Route 235 at mile post 21 when he was stopped for a traffic violation and drug paraphernalia was discovered. Clark was issued a citation for possession of drugs and not wearing a seat belt.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop at 4:47 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Jessica Biederman, 30, of Kenton was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped while traveling eastbound on U.S. 33 at mile post 29 for a speeding violation. Drug paraphernalia was discovered on Biederman’s person and she was issued a citation for possession of drugs.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop at 8:49 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Seth Peterson, 20, of Columbus was traveling westbound on U.S. 33 at mile post 24 when he was stopped for a speeding violation and drugs were discovered. He was cited for the speeding charge and possession of drugs.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop at 11:28 p.m. Saturday. Leslie Graden, 56, of Columbus was traveling eastbound on U.S. 33 at mile post 16 when a caller reported reckless operation. Graden was stopped and cited for operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop on 1:39 a.m. Sunday. Matthew Triplehorn, 38, of Lima was driving a motorcycle westbound on Route 235 at mile post 21 when he was stopped for a traffic violation. He was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, speeding and failure to stop of a traffic control device.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop at 2:34 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Kayla Hudson, 22, of Kenton was traveling eastbound on Route 235 at mile post 21 when she was stopped for a traffic violation. She was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, not wearing a seat belt, driving left of center and distracted driving.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop at 2:59 p.m. Sunday. Delmar Parker, 20, of Reynoldsburg was traveling on U.S. 33 at mile post 7 when he was stopped for speeding. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were discovered. He was issued citations for speeding and possession of drugs.
Troopers responded to an incident on U.S. 33 at mile post 13 at 5:32 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate a trooper came across a dead Bald Eagle. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources was contacted and they will be receiving the bird.
Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash at 8:54 p.m. Monday. Joe Hammer, 61, of St. Marys was traveling northwest on U.S. 33 at mile post 26 when he struck a deer. He was wearing his seat belt did not experience any injuries. No citations were issued.
Troopers responded to assist another agency at 9:16 p.m. Monday. A trooper assisted the Logan County Sheriff’s Office with traffic control surrounding a crash that occurred on U.S. 33 at mile post 8.
