Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 100 block of E. Fifth Street at 11:20 a.m. Monday. Reports indicate a Chicago Electric 18V impact driver was found on the roadway.
Police responded to a report of burglary in the 300 block of Magnolia Drive at 11:31 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 1400 block of Downey Drive at 2:44 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of W. Seventh Street at 5 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of telecommunications harassment in the 400 block of Terrace Drive at 9:37 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate the reporting person received several threatening text messages.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Melissa A. Spires, 56, of Orchard Drive and Cody Allen Reed, 27, of London that occurred on Milford Avenue at 4:35 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Reed was stopped behind Spires when she began to back out of a parking spot and struck Reed’s vehicle. Reports indicate neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. No citations are listed on the accident report.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Westlake Lee Road to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulently obtained cell phone account at 12:15 a.m. Monday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 12000 block of Morey Courtright Road to search for a person threatening self-harm at 2:23 p.m. Monday.
While on patrol, a deputy stopped in the intersection of Route 31 and Mill Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2009 Honda CR-V that was struck from behind by a 2019 Honda Civic at 3:14 p.m. Monday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District and the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to Route 31 near Miller Road to investigate an injury crash involving a 2012 Mack semi-truck and a 1999 Buick Le Sabre at 3:57 p.m. Monday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to the intersection of Scottslawn Road and Route 736 for an injury crash involving a 2014 Jeep Cheroke that was struck from behind by a 2011 Jeep Liberty at 4:57 p.m. Monday. The driver of the Jeep Liberty, Kelsie M. Hamby, 28, of Dublin was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 14000 block of Weaver Road for a person making threats of self-harm at 5:08 p.m. Monday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of Fish Daum Road to take possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia that were located in the residence at 6:51 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a church in the 18000 block of Springdale Road to investigate damage to a stained glass window at 7:29 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 12000 block of Leeper Perkins Road for an unruly juvenile at 7:38 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 19000 block of Pine Lane to take possession of drug paraphernalia that was found in the residence at 7:45 p.m. Monday.
Deputies responded to Route 31 near Martin Welch Road for a property damage crash involving a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country that struck a deer at 9:48 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 32000 block of Route 37 to investigate the possible theft of several items at 10:15 p.m. Monday.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department and the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence in the 2000 block of Coleman Brake Road for a suicide attempt at 10:40 p.m. Monday. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 21000 block of Main Street in Raymond to resolve a dispute over the custody of a dog at 10:56 p.m. Monday.
