According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Austin Miller, 25, of S. Walnut Street was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 100 block of S. Walnut Street at 2:57 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 1000 block of Charles Lane at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate the reporting person indicated an iPad was missing.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of Hickory Drive at 1:52 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate the reporting person believes he was being scammed over the internet for computer repairs. All his accounts have been closed and his credit cards have been canceled.
Grant Alan Colopy, 19, of Creekview Drive was cited for illegal use or possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia on Fifth Street at 3:08 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from a Tuesday incident in which narcotics were located during a traffic stop.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Johnathon Robert-James Kaminski, 22, of Urbana that occurred on Route 4 at U.S. 33 at 11:47 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Kaminski was exiting U.S. 33 onto Route 4 in the left lane. He merged onto Route 4 when a hit-skip driver side-swiped his vehicle. The unknown driver, who was operating a green and yellow farm tractor, continued north on Route 4 and left the scene. Reports indicate Kaminski did not experience any injuries. No citations were issued at the time of the report.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Owen Timothy Tennant, 23, of Pataskala and Judy Gregory, 76, of Terrace Court that occurred on Terrace Court at 6:12 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Tennant had entered a parking space and was readjusting in the parking lot opposing the parking space for 322 Terrace Court. Gregory exited the parking space and made contact with Tennant’s vehicle. Reports indicate neither driver experienced any injury. No citations were issued at the time of the report.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
As a result of a traffic stop on Route 4 near Milford Avenue, deputies arrested Kangol K. M. Odo, 49, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant from Union County at 1:54 p.m. Tuesday. A passenger in the vehicle, Kaleigh S. Earles, 27, of Milford Center was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Madison County. Both were transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department and the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to the parking lot of a business in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway for two vehicles that were on fire at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Officer to take custody of Austin T. Miller, 25, of Raymond for a probation violation at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to a property in the 20000 block of Hoover Bault Road to investigate a dispute an ex-boyfriend and an ex-girlfriend over personal property at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to Route 4 near Tawa Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2006 GMC Sierra that struck a deer at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash at 6:14 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Michael Jackson, 62, of Baltimore was operating a 2016 Freightliner Conventional on U.S. 33 at mile post 7. Jackson was stopped at a traffic light at a one-lane road closure on U.S. 33 when a vehicle driven by Corben Stoughton, 19, of Whitehall struck the rear of his vehicle. Stoughton was operating a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. Both subjects were wearing their seat belts and neither had any apparent injuries. Stoughton’s vehicle sustained substantial damage and Jackson’s vehicle had minor damage. Stoughton was cited for failure to stop within assured clear distance ahead.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Christopher L. Rieser, 36, of Grove City was operating a 2010 Ford four-door westbound on U.S. 33 at mile post 12 when he was stopped for a traffic violation. Rieser was subsequently cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and not driving in marked lanes/lane straddling.
Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Derek Masters, 22, of Sebring was operating a 2016 Freightliner Conventional northbound on Main Street in Zanesfield near 2802 East Main Street when he struck an overhead wire, causing to become disconnected. He was wearing his seatbelt and did not experience any apparent injuries.
