Police responded to a report of lost property in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 11:51 a.m. Wednesday. The reporting person advised she left her wallet in a shopping cart at Wal-Mart.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 7:18 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate an adult white male in his 30s, who was wearing a black shirt, black shorts, a bright orange bandana on his head and a white face mask, was observed at Meijer forcing a product protection device off of a black Carhartt baseball cap, valued at $16.99. The subject was with an adult white female wearing a white spaghetti strap top and black leggings, with a medium build and hair dyed from blonde to red, from top to bottom. She had a black, backpack-style purse that set off anti-theft alarms as she left the grocery exit of the store. The pair entered a white, Chevrolet full-size extended cab pick-up truck that was missing the tailgate. According to reports, “the truck was in rough shape.” The pair committed another theft at Meijer in Lewis Center later on, as the male suspect was wearing the Carhartt baseball cap when he exited that store.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate an adult subject, wearing a red shirt and black leggings, approximately 5’2” in height with a thin build, exited Meijer with several loaded tote bags without offering payment. She also had a package of feminine hygiene pads valued at $11.99. She proceeded to a white, four-door sedan and loaded the items into the truck. She threw the package of feminine hygiene pads past the truck and onto the ground in her rush to load the items. Individuals in the truck sped off and exited the lot.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Chikara Saida, 35, of Dublin was operating a 2018 Honda Civic westbound on U.S. 33 west of mile post 3 when she struck a deer. She was wearing a seat belt and did not experience any apparent injuries. No citations were issued as a result of the incident.
