John R. Maguire, 62, of Quail Hollow Drive was cited for driving under suspension and operation of a vehicle at stop signs in the 500 block of Milford Avenue at 6:59 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 1100 block of Charles Lane at 11:42 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate a firearm was stolen from a vehicle while it was parked at the YMCA.
Police responded to a report of endangering children involving an eight-year-old that occurred in the 300 block of N. Cherry Street at 5:23 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of rape involving a juvenile victim that occurred at an unlisted address at 9:16 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Samantha L. Rainer, 30, of Milford Center and a juvenile driver that occurred on N. Main Street at 9:46 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Rainer was parallel parking on N. Main Street when the juvenile driver struck the rear of her vehicle. The juvenile driver left the scene. The juvenile driver was later cited with overtaking and passing to the left.
Refugio Hernandez Jr., whose age is unlisted, was cited for possession, sale or discharge prohibited in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 7:56 a.m. Saturday. The citation stemmed from an incident in which reports of gunfire led to the discovery of discharged fireworks.
Police responded to a report of endangering children involving a two-year-old victim that occurred in the 1900 block of Fawn Meadow Drive at 7:24 a.m. Saturday.
Police conducted a death investigation in the 1500 block of London Avenue at 7:24 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a subject died in a care facility.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 400 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 11:44 a.m. Saturday. The reporting person advised police of suspicious conditions as she was leaving Yamato’s.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 800 block of Catalpa Place at 3:18 p.m. Saturday. A woman reported that her address was used to send Walmart debit cards that are not in her name.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 600 block of E. Fourth Street at 4:05 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 600 block of Meadows Drive at 6:06 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a female was trying to break up with her boyfriend when they got into a verbal argument.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 7:21 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a cell phone was found.
Stephen Francis Grifka, 47, of Murrey, Michigan was cited for driving while under the influence in the 1200 block of E. Fifth Street at 4:52 p.m. Sunday.
Jenna Kristina Glenn, 36, of W. Fourth Street was cited for disorderly conduct in the 300 block of W. Fourth Street at 4:55 a.m. Sunday.
Nicholas Zamarelli, 19, of Palm Drive was cited for driving while under the influence of alcohol and underage purchase, possession or consumption of alcohol on W. Fourth Street at 4:46 a.m. Sunday.
Judy N. Queen, 37, of E. Fourth Street was cited for an FRA/non-compliance suspension on London Avenue at 7:58 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of breaking and entering in the 1100 block of Valley Drive at 6:28 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 14000 block of Weaver Road at 5:24 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate MPD responded to the area of Adena Pointe in reference to a “loose horse.”

Deputies and units from the Plain City Police Department and the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Rickard Road for a property damage crash involving a 2018 Kenworth dump truck that struck the back of a 2021 Freightliner semi-truck at 9:46 a.m. Friday. The driver of the Kenworth, Robert D. Cochran, 50, of West Jefferson was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy responded to the roundabout at Route 161 and Eiterman Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 GMC Sierra that struck a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse at 1:14 p.m. Friday.
A deputy investigated the theft of jewelry that was stolen from a residence in the 19000 block of Collins Road at 2:33 p.m. Friday.
Deputies arrested Tabitha A. Smith, 35, of Plain City at the Union County Courthouse for an outstanding arrest warrant from Champaign County at 2:57 p.m. Friday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred on U.S. 33 west of Route 161 involving a 2016 Nissan Rogue that struck a tire tread that was lying in the roadway at 4:27 p.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 west of U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2006 BMW 750Li that struck a deer at 11:21 p.m. Friday.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near Route 245, a deputy arrested Omar M. Omar, 35, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant from Logan County at 11:38 p.m. Friday. He was transferred to the custody of a Logan County deputy.
Deputies assisted a trooper from the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a vehicle pursuit involving a 2011 GMC Acadia on U.S. 33 and Route 31 at 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Beecher Gamble Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2012 Nissan Rogue that struck a deer at 3:11 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District responded to the 25000 block of Route 31 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country that struck a deer at 5:45 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of Allen Center Road to investigate damage caused by an unknown vehicle that drove off the road and into a yard at 1:22 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate damage to a window at 1:22 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Darryl D. Barner, 38, of Reynoldsburg for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:46 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of Mission Drive to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 2:59 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Jerome Township Fire Department, Washington Township Fire Department and Concord Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 42 north of Harriott Road for an injury crash involving a 2005 Honda CR-V that drove off the road and struck a utility pole at 3:14 p.m. Saturday. The driver, John T. Quillen, 61, of Plain City was issued traffic citations for failure to control, reckless operation, driving under suspension and failure to drive in marked lanes. One victim was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 30000 block of Route 31 to investigate the theft of a 2011 John Deere 740 lawnmower at 4:01 p.m. Saturday.
As a result of a traffic stop on Corona Lane near Mission Drive, a deputy arrested Jason S. Catanella, 48, of Plain City for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 4:13 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Plain City Police Department.
A Union County deputy met with a Logan County deputy to take custody of Russell W. Brown Jr., 35, of Cridesville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:32 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Marysville Police Department and released after posting a bond.
A deputy was sent to the 9000 block of Homer Road for a juvenile placing obstructions in the roadway at 8:26 p.m. Saturday. The juvenile was returned to his residence.
Deputies were dispatched to a fishing club in the 10000 block of Streng Road to investigate a dispute between the property manager and a pizza delivery driver at 11:20 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Southeast Hardin Northwest Union Joint Fire District responded to a residence in the 21000 block of Lingrell Road for a person that attempted self-harm at 12:12 a.m. Sunday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Sarah M. Burris, 28, of London for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:30 a.m. Sunday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 23000 block of Darby Pottersburg Road for a person that was found deceased in her home at 9:09 a.m. Sunday. The Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 28000 block of Kinney Pike to investigate a property damage crash involving an unknown vehicle that struck a mailbox and then left the scene at 10:01 a.m. Sunday.
A deputy and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to State Road near Long Road for a possible injury crash involving a bicycle rider that lost control and crashed while trying to avoid an animal in the roadway at 12:24 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were sent to the Leesburg Township Fire Department on Route 347 for a person threatening self-harm at 7:11 p.m. Sunday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies responded to Route 161 near Lafayette Plain City Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 GMC Terrain that struck a deer at 9:50 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy responded to the 10000 block of Crottinger Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Dodge Caravan that struck a deer at 10:42 p.m. Sunday.
