According to Plain City Police Department reports:
Officers and fire personnel from Station 261 were dispatched to North Avenue at 8:42 p.m. June 7 in reference to a reported gas leak.
An officer was on patrol and observed a silver Kia sedan with no visible registration at 6:42 p.m. June 7. The officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Moussa Korera. Dispatch advised Korera had an entered warrant from Clark County for failure to appear in court on a drug-related offense. Korera was subsequently issued a citation for no valid operator’s license, license forfeiture suspension and expired tags. Korera was also charged with possession of drugs. His vehicle was legally parked off the roadway so it would not be a road hazard. An officer relayed with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, due to the warrants.
An officer observed a 2015 red Ford F550 Series truck parked on West Main Street and Gay Street, blocking westbound traffic on West Avenue at 11:41 a.m. June 7. The officer made contact with the vehicle owner, who stated that he was contracted to do work in the area. The officer warned the driver for parking where he was not supposed to and had him move the vehicle to an appropriate parking spot.
Police responded to an open door on Lantern Lane at 1:51 a.m. June 7.
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of W. Bigelow Avenue and Maple Street in reference to a non-injury crash at 12:01 a.m. June 7. Tim Dellapina was issued a citation for a stop sign violation. Both vehicles involved had functional damage and were able to be driven from the scene.
An officer was dispatched to the area of South Chillicothe Street near Beech Street in reference to a 911 follow-up at 2:18 p.m. June 6.
An officer was met at the police department in reference to a scam complaint at 1:44 p.m. June 6. The officer directed the complainant to contact the Ohio Attorney General to file a complaint.
An officer observed two vehicles off the roadway at Route 42 Bargains on South Jefferson Avenue at 1:14 p.m. June 6. Isabell Orofino was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
An officer was dispatched to a driving complaint that originated from Marion County at 12:45 p.m. June 6. The officer verbally warned the driver for not showing proof of insurance, a cracked front windshield and the driving complaint.

An officer responded to the area of South Jefferson Avenue in reference to a driving complaint at 11:29 p.m. June 6. After observing no signs of impairment, the officer warned the driver of the possible consequences if he continued to drive recklessly.
An officer was dispatched to Willow Bend Circle at 1:51 p.m. June 5 in reference to a non-injury crash. The complainant advised she was met at the door by Alvin Troyer. Troyer stated that he accidentally backed into her parked and unoccupied vehicle. He was issued a citation for starting and backing.
An officer arrived at The Grainery on West Main Street at 10:51 p.m. June 5 in reference to a noise complaint. The officer advised that the owner of the listed location is being reasonable with the music, but the resident will have to turn the music down at 11 p.m. Without making contact with the resident at the listed location, the music was turned down at exactly 11 p.m.
An officer was requested to conduct a BAC test for a Union County Sheriff’s Office deputy at 4:39 p.m. June 5.
Officers were dispatched to North Avenue Apartments on North Avenue at 9:06 p.m. June 5 in reference to questions regarding property. The complainant advised she apologized for the miscommunication and stated she wanted her belongings to remain in the apartment until she officially moves out. The apartment manager was advised to speak with the complainant or any resident prior to moving out their belongings.
An officer responded to an open door on Doe Street at 12:58 a.m. June 4.
An officer responded to an open door at the NAPA on Village Blvd. at 11:32 p.m. June 4.
An officer responded to an alarm drop at Der Dutchman on South Jefferson Blvd. at 8:39 p.m. June 4.
An officer responded to Wellsley Way at 1:04 p.m. for a 911 follow-up.
An officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office at 10:06 a.m. June 4 to assist their deputies with traffic control on U.S. 42 north and Rickard Road following a crash.
An officer responded to East South Street at 9 a.m. June 4 in reference to an identity theft. The officer advised the victim that a report documenting the incident would be on file. The officer also advised the victim to reach out to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and the Federal Trade Commission, as they would be able to provide additional information for identity theft victims.

An officer was on patrol and observed two juveniles walking on East Main Street at 12:51 a.m. June 2. The officer then contacted and was met on the scene by the father of one juvenile. He took the girls back to his residence.
An officer responded to Smith-Calhoun Road at 1:32 a.m. June 2 at the request of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office to assist the agency.
An officer observed a parking violation in front of Warrenton Drive at 1:32 p.m. June 2. The subject moved her vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Gay Street at 2:30 p.m. June 2 for a juvenile that just left the residence after getting into an argument with her mom. It was determined that the juvenile assaulted the mother. Per Madison County Juvenile Probation, the juvenile was to be released to her grandfather. The juvenile will be charged with domestic violence.
An officer responded to Maple Court at 6:20 p.m. June 2 at the request of the complainant. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to all parties. The subject was then transported to the hospital by her mother.
An officer was requested by the Hilliard Police Department to do a message delivery on Doe Street at 9:15 p.m. June 2.
An officer was requested by a Union County Sheriff’s Office deputy to respond to U.S. 33 near U.S. 42 in reference to a K9 assist at 11:25 p.m. June 2.
Officers were dispatched to the bridge just south of the Plain City Elementary School in reference to a juvenile complaint at 12:32 p.m. June 1. Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate any juveniles in the area. Officers continued to check the area but did not locate anyone.
Officers were dispatched to Fairfield Drive at 2:26 p.m. June 1 in reference to a dispute.
