According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Nicholas John Cox, 52, of Capac, Michigan was cited for disorderly conduct (intoxication) in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 1:38 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from a June 5 incident in which a Cox allegedly urinated in the MPD parking lot.
William Miller, 59, of W. Ninth Street was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 200 block of W. Ninth Street at 7:08 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver that occurred on Kenmore Crossing Blvd. at 2:14 p.m. June 8. Reports indicate a vehicle was parked in a parking stall overnight. When the owner came outside in the morning, they noticed substantial damage to the right, rear corner of the vehicle. No information was left by the hit-skip driver.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Mallory Elizabeth Olson, 21, of Gallop Lane and a juvenile driver that occurred on Delaware Avenue at U.S. 33 at 2:52 a.m. June 8. Reports indicate Olson rear-ended the juvenile driver while stopping at the traffic light on Delaware Avenue and the on-ramp of U.S. 33 westbound. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Olson was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to a business in the 10000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a Ford Explorer that struck a Subaru WRX in the parking lot at 6:54 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was sent to the Union County Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of James A. Beswick, 39, of Marysville for a bond violation at 8:28 a.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to the Union County Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to investigate a dispute over the ownership of a vehicle at 10:04 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy went to the Delaware County Jail to take custody of Troy C. Burgess, 26, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:12 a.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of County Home Road to investigate a neighbor dispute over a property line at 10:18 a.m. Tuesday.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 9000 block of Unionville Road, a deputy charged Joshua M. Wenger, 20, of Plain City with possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies and a Richwood Police Department officer investigated a trespassing complaint that occurred at a business in the 23000 block of Route 4 at 2:39 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate an unruly juvenile complaint at 2:49 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was sent to a property in the 7000 block of Hyland Croy Road to investigate a possible stolen vehicle at 3:26 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department, the Marysville Fire Department and the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to the 21000 block of Route 4 for an injury crash involving a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek that was struck from behind by a 2002 Toyota Corolla at 4:17 p.m. Tuesday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Toyota, Kyle T. Gardner, 38, of Mansfield was issued traffic citations for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead and driving under suspension.
A deputy was sent to the Union County Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Lee D. Dennis, 32, of Marysville for a bond violation at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 27000 block of Route 31 to investigate a gift card scam allegedly involving the social security administration and the drug enforcement administration at 4:38 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were dispatched to the 15000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2020 Honda CR-V that struck a deer at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday.
