According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of a dog bite in the 500 block of Ash Street at 4:29 p.m. Friday. The reporting person advised he was bitten by a dog while on a run.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Neila Kay McCarty, 71, of E. Ninth Street and Ethan Ross Rausch, 18, of London Avenue that occurred on N. Maple Street at W. Third Street at 5:58 p.m. Friday. Both vehicles stopped at the stop sign of the intersection, then entered the intersection at the same time. McCarty struck the side of Rausch’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. No citations are listed in the incident report.
Janice Renee Blevins, 40, of Route 347 was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 6:01 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 2:21 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate MPD was called to Stephen’s Lounge for a fight.
Police responded to impound a vehicle in the 100 block of E. Sixth Street at 7:01 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate an abandoned vehicle was towed from a city parking lot.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 400 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 4:24 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a man stole Nike sandals from Shoe Department.
Police responded to a report of a missing juvenile in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 8:24 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate an individual reported a runaway juvenile to MPD.
Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 100 block of N. Plum Street at 10:44 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a female juvenile was arrested for spray painting multiple facilities.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Rebecca May Stamm, 72, of Harriott Road, Jennifer Paige Gillis, 31, of London and Ryan Dean Butts, 33, of W. Fifth Street that occurred on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 3:23 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Stamm and Gillis were facing south on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at Delaware Avenue, stopped at the traffic light, when Butts rear-ended Gillis, which caused her to strike the rear of Stamm’s vehicle. Butts was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Kassianne Sherwood, 19, of Bellefontaine was cited for license forfeiture/driving under suspension (child support) on U.S. 33 at Delaware Avenue at 4:48 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1000 block of Creekview Drive at 7:40 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate money was found in the area and turned into local law enforcement.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Traci Nicole Conn, 34, of Delaware and Jason K. Wolverton, 34, of Buckeye Lake that occurred on Columbus Avenue at E. Fifth Street at 12:23 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Conn was traveling northbound on Columbus Avenue and stopped at the red light with traffic in front of her. Wolverton was following Conn and struck the rear of her vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Wolverton was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Ethan Phillip Hall and Joshua Matthew Grove that occurred on U.S. 33 at Route 4 at 10:34 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Hall was exiting U.S. 33 and merging onto Route 4. He yielded to a semi-truck and was rear-ended by Grove. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Hall was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Poling Road to investigate the possible theft of a television and a cable television receiver at 4:53 a.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 west of Route 161 for a property damage crash involving a 2018 Honda Odyssey that struck a deer at 8:37 a.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to the roundabout at Route 161 and Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2002 Ford Taurus that struck a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica at 9:25 a.m. Friday. The driver of the Ford, Michael A. Beasley, 50, of Bellefontaine was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection.
A deputy was dispatched to a farm in the 26000 block of Route 739 to resolve a dispute involving loose cattle that damaged crops in a farm field at 10:19 a.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Department officer to take custody of Joshua T. Ruffing, 27, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:04 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 21000 block of Westlake Lee Road to resolve a custody dispute among family members at 2:31 p.m. Friday.
As a result of a traffic stop on Route 161 near Bobcat Lane, a deputy arrested William D. Robson, 74, of West Mansfield for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 4:27 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Plain City Police Department.
Deputies responded to the 18000 block of Springdale Road for a driving complaint and a property damage crash involving a 2004 Honda Odyssey that struck a mailbox and then left the scene at 4:42 p.m. Friday. After further investigation, Amber C. Imbrogno, 38, of Marysville was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence and issued a traffic citation for failure to control. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 22000 block of Route 739 to investigate threatening statements that were made by an ex-girlfriend at 8:08 p.m. Friday.
As a result of a traffic stop on Route 31 near Armine Wood Road, deputies arrested Troy M. Fleckinger, 52, of Waverly for an outstanding arrest warrant from Pike County at 12:40 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 8000 block of Rickard Road for an unresponsive person at 12:45 p.m. Saturday. The person was pronounced deceased and the Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 16000 block of School Street in New Dover to investigate threatening text messages that were received at 3:48 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies were dispatched to a campground in the 20000 block of Route 347 to investigate a missing person at 4:16 p.m. Saturday.
As a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Industrial Parkway and Adelsberger Road, a deputy arrested Daniel L. Reed, 45, of Ostrander for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 7:55 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 west of Scottslawn Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Toyota Avalon that struck a deer at 11:35 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department responded to a residence on West State Street in Milford Center for a fight involving two males at 11:55 p.m. Saturday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
As a result of a traffic stop on Route 4 near Fulton Creek Road, a deputy arrested Brittany A. Whalen, 32, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant from Madison County at 3:48 p.m. Sunday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 12000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate damage to the residence.
