Police recovered stolen property in the 900 block of East Fifth Street Monday at 12:12 p.m.

Deputies responded to Adelsberger Road east of Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Volvo Semi that drove off the road and into a farm field Monday at 4:57 a.m. The driver, Ahmed A. Adam, 42, of Michigan, was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy investigated a possible fraudulent check that was received at a residence in the 22000 block of Buck Run Road Monday at 9:42 a.m.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 13000 block of Weaver Road to investigate the theft of a 2004 Honda CR-V Monday at 10:58 a.m.
A deputy arrested Jacob L. Picklesimer, 21, of Marysville, for an outstanding warrant Monday at 10:58 a.m. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near the rest area for a property damage crash involving a semi and a Honda Civic Monday at 11:01 a.m. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
While assisting the State Patrol with a crash on U.S. 33, a deputy arrested Freddie A. Sams Sr., 51, of Reynoldsburg, for an outstanding warrant Monday at 11:01 a.m.
He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Beecher Gamble Road for a property damage crash involving a 2011 Ford Van and a 2014 Ford Escape Monday at 1:24 p.m.
A deputy responded to the U.S. 33 off ramp to Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Honda Accord that was struck from behind by a 2015 Honda Accord Monday at 4:06 p.m. The driver of the 2015 Honda Accord, Sarah S. Ashida, 28, of Dublin, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy investigated unwanted text messages that were received at a residence in the 18000 block of Brown School Road Monday at 6:30 p.m.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Watkins Road to investigate fraudulent credit accounts that were opened using the victim’s identity Monday at 6:43 p.m.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 22000 block of Jackson Road to resolve a custody dispute Monday at 8:05 p.m.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to the 24000 block of Yearsley Road for an injury crash involving a 2007 Honda Civic that drove off the road, struck a mailbox and a tree Monday at 10:34 p.m. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. After further investigation, Chad E. Pencil, 45, of North Hampton, was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, failure to reinstate, and failure to control.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Freddie Sams Sr., 51, of Reynoldsburg, was charged with overtaking another vehicle on U.S. 33 at the rest stop Monday at 11:12 a.m. Sams was driving southeast on U.S. 33 in the left lane when he tried to merge into the right lane and struck a 2007 Honda driver by Richard Ketcham, of Florida. The semi entered the median and the Honda came to a stop at the rest stop. No one was injured.
