Police investigated an instance of a woman refusing to give her children back after summer visitation Tuesday at 10:55 a.m.
Jeffrey D. Lewis, 52, of Wind Mil Drive, was arrested on charge of cruelty to animals on Wind Mil Drive Tuesday at 4:19 p.m.
Police investigated a report of suspicious conditions on Downey Drive Tuesday at 6:36 p.m.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 16000 block of Mackan Road to investigate a suspicious vehicle parked on the property Tuesday at 1:44 a.m. Three juveniles were found in the vehicle, along with marijuana.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Peoria Loop Road to investigate a dispute between a male and his ex-girlfriend Tuesday at 9:16 a.m.
A deputy went to the Logan County Jail to take custody of Eric G. H. Coe, 39, of Lakeview, for an outstanding arrest warrant Tuesday at 9:53 a.m. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 9000 block of Unionville Road for a property dispute between a husband and wife Tuesday at 12:41 p.m.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Memorial Drive to investigate the theft of a trailer and generator Tuesday at 2:40 p.m.
A deputy was sent to the railroad crossing on Warner Road for a train blocking the crossing for an extended period of time Tuesday at 5:04 p.m.
Christopher M. Wright, 21, of Marysville, turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office for a probation violation Tuesday at 5:14 p.m. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Poling Road for an injury crash involving a 2011 Honda Accord that lost control, drove off the road, rolled onto its side and came to rest in a ditch full of water Tuesday at 5:44 p.m. One victim was taken to Memorial Hospital. The driver, Jennifer L. Potts, 49, of Russells Point, was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Easton Road to investigate a neighbor dispute over a property line Tuesday at 6:27 p.m.
A Union County deputy met with a Hardin County deputy to take custody of Jennifer E. Bailey, 31, of Alger, for an outstanding arrest warrant Tuesday at 10 p.m. She was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to the intersection of Industrial Parkway and U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2009 Toyota Corolla that struck a 2017 Peterbilt semi Tuesday at 10:07 p.m. The driver of the Toyota, Kumaresh Easwaran, 19, of Plain City, was issued a traffic citation for failure to obey a traffic control device.
A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to take custody of Chad J. Spitzer, 44, of Prospect, for an outstanding arrest warrant Tuesday at 10:52 p.m. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
