Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a juvenile driver and Perry A. Payne that occurred on W. Fifth Street at Lee’s Place at 2:05 p.m. Friday. Further details were not available at press time.
James Dale McCoy, 36, of Hilliard was cited for driving while under the influence and squealing tires on E. Fifth Street at 4:15 a.m. Sunday.
Tierney Lynn Baker, 21, of Red Pine Drive was cited for disorderly conduct in the 100 block of Hemlock Drive at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Steffanie Dawn Reiss, 37, of Meadows Drive that occurred on U.S. 33 at Raymond Road at 9:04 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Reiss was traveling westbound on U.S. 33 approaching the Raymond Road overpass when she lost control while hydroplaning and began to spin. The front, right corner of her vehicle struck the guardrail, then the rear, right corner struck it and disabled the vehicle. Reports indicate she experienced possible injuries. She was cited for failure to control.
Police responded to a report of drug abuse in the 300 block of S. Walnut Street at 9:57 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate an individual was found in a residence after overdosing in his bathroom.
Police responded to a dispute in the 100 block of Redwood Drive at 11:14 p.m. Monday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy met with a resident from the 20000 block of Wolford Maskill Road to investigate the theft of funds from a bank account at 12:15 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Cheryl L. Klinger, 39, of Westerville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:46 p.m. Friday. She was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a business in the 7300 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate a trespassing complaint involving an ex-employee at 3:35 p.m. Friday.
As a result of a traffic stop on East Fifth Street, a deputy arrested Brandon B. Grant, 25, of North Lewisburg for an outstanding arrest warrant from Champaign County at 9:23 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to the 32000 block of Cobb Harriman Road to take possession of two bicycles that were abandoned in a ditch line at 11:28 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies and officers from the Plain City Police Department were dispatched to the 7000 block of Butler Avenue to investigate a trespassing complaint at 9:46 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to Miller Road near McMahan Road for a property damage crash involving a 2018 Toyota Corolla that struck a deer at 6:16 a.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate damage to the tires of a 1999 Chevrolet truck at 7:54 a.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Route 38 to investigate a possible burglary at 8:15 a.m. Monday.
A deputy went to the Morrow County Jail to take custody of Andrew K. Foster, 51, of Etna for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:55 a.m. Monday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 24000 block of Route 4 for a domestic dispute between a mother and daughter at 11:13 a.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 11000 block of Route 47 to investigate fraud involving an online dating website at 3:35 a.m. Monday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 21000 block of Route 739 to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulently obtained bank account at 3:37 a.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 19000 block of Route 161 to investigate identity theft involving fraudulently obtained unemployment benefits at 5:32 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of Santa Clara Circle for a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 6:47 p.m. Monday.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department, Allen Township Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the area of Johnson Road and Darby Pottersburg Road for an injury crash involving a motorcycle that struck a deer at 8:52 p.m. Monday. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
A deputy was sent to a property in the 18000 block of Easton Road to investigate an unsafe shooting complaint at 3:27 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 27000 block of Zook Road to investigate bullet holes found in a window at 8:25 p.m. Sunday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash at 9:26 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Nicholas Davis, 26, of Columbus was operating a 2014 Honda Civic southeast on U.S. 33 east of mile post 20 when a deer struck the driver side of the vehicle. Davis did not experience any apparent injuries. No citations were issued as a result of the incident.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop at 2:16 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Tyrell Spath, 35, of Forest was operating a 1991 Honda MC, traveling 100 mph on Route 117 at mile post 1. Spath was cited for speeding and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop at 5:03 a.m. Sunday. Anthony Millner, 45, of Canal Winchester was operating a 2012 Ford four-door on U.S. 33 eastbound at mile post 29 when he was stopped for not driving within marked lanes. He was cited for not driving in marked lanes and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Troopers responded to the scene of a minor injury crash at 8:52 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Justin Newton, 30, of Marysville was operating a 1977 Honda Rebel motorcycle westbound on Route 179 at Route 161 when he struck a deer that came into the roadway. Newton and his juvenile passenger were ejected toward the shoulder of the roadway. Both the driver and the passenger were taken to Memorial Hospital by Allen Township EMS with minor injuries. Both the driver and passenger had helmets on. No citations were issued as a result of the incident.
