According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of telecommunication harassment in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate an unknown subject was calling and leaving “harassing messages.”
Police responded to a suicide threat in the 400 block of Wind Mil Drive at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Isabelle Jayne Young, 18, of Huntsville and George Phillip Henault, 52, of La Rue that occurred on U.S. 33 near Route 31 at 7:57 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Young was traveling east on U.S. 33, preparing to pass underneath Route 31. She saw Henault entering the highway on her right. She began to change lanes as the Henault lost control of his vehicle. Henault struck Young’s vehicle and sent her into the center median. Her vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. Henault was cited for failure to control.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Joshua W. Crisman, 38, of Morristown, Indiana and Adam Lee Smith, 36, of Deer Crossing Drive that occurred on W. Fifth Street at N. Main Street at 4:42 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Crisman was on W. Fifth Street, attempting to turn left into an alleyway between S. Main Street and S. Court Street. Smith was parked in a marked parking spot on the north side of W. Fifth Street. As Crisman made a turn, the rear of the trailer pulled by his vehicle struck Smith’s vehicle. Cameras show that Smith was parked there before Crisman entered the area. No injuries were reported. Crisman was cited for failure to control.
Kyle Brandon Gillum, 33, of Pin Oak Drive was arrested for unlawful restraint in the 100 block of Pin Oak Drive at 7:24 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate the arrest stemmed from an incident in which MPD was dispatched for a domestic complaint.
Robert William Durst, 42, of North Lewisburg was arrested for theft in the 100 block of S. Main Street at 12:48 p.m. Wednesday.
Chastity Poole, 31, of Chestnut Street was cited for an FRA/non-compliance suspension and driving without paying reinstatement fees on Chestnut Street at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 100 block of E. Ninth Street at London Avenue at 2:11 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a suicide threat at 12:09 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Watkins Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 10:49 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 17000 block of Clark Dawson Road to investigate a possible protection order violation at 10:58 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies investigated the possible theft of multiple firearms from a residence in the 10000 block of Hinton Mill Road at 11:04 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department, Concord Township Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to U.S. 42 near Wells Road for a property damage crash involving a 2003 Dodge Ram and a 2015 Chevrolet Trax at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
A deputy went to the Logan County Jail to take custody of Nicholas S. Chiles, 38, of Lima for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:18 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a possible domestic dispute between occupants in the vehicle at 3:19 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to the Union County Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Jonathan R. Wurtsbaugh, 37, of Richwood for a bond violation at 3:26 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a property in the 19000 block of Pine Lane to investigate a trespassing complaint at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 17000 block of Route 739 to investigate a trespassing complaint.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a harassment complaint at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday.
