Police responded to a report of a runaway juvenile in the 800 block of W. Fifth Street at 7:27 a.m. Wednesday. The juvenile returned.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 1700 block of Damos Way at 1:46 p.m. Wednesday. The reporting person indicated he was being extorted after sending nude photos to someone he met on a dating app.
Police responded to a report of theft by deception in the 1000 block of London Avenue at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate the complainant answered an advertisement on the Union County Classifieds Facebook page and was scammed.
Police responded to a report of endangering children in the 300 block of Bridgewater Drive at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 for a person threatening self-harm at 12:57 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Subaru Outback that was struck from behind by a 2003 Peterbilt semi-truck at 8:19 a.m. Wednesday. The driver of the Peterbilt, Camille Monchamp, 54, of St. Michel de Napierville, Quebec, Canada was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road to investigate damage to a mailbox at 8:57 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to the cemetery on Route 739 near Titus Road to investigate damage to several memorials at a grave site at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy investigated unwanted text messages that occurred at a residence in the 22000 block of Raymond Road at 1:31 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Wintercreeper Court to investigate identity theft at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a possible protection order violation at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy investigated a domestic dispute that occurred between a husband and wife at a residence in the 20000 block of Davis Road at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 16000 block of Martin Welch Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a harassment complaint at 9:07 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Jordan A. Snyder, 27, of Westerville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:41 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash on U.S. 33 near Route 540 at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Junior Alvarado, 21, of Columbus struck the vehicle of Amie Rausch, 29, of Bellefontaine. Both drivers were traveling eastbound when Alvarado traveled outside of the marked lanes and struck Rausch. Alvarado was cited for not driving in marked lanes.
A trooper stopped a 2005 Honda Accord, driven by Gustavo Hernandez Pedroza and subsequently cited the driver for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 2:51 p.m. Wednesday.
A trooper was sent to Route 117 and Route 273 in Logan County to assist the Logan County Sheriff’s Department with traffic control due to a vehicle being in the roadway at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday.
