Police responded to a report of a missing juvenile in the 100 block of Hemlock Drive at 12:25 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of a curfew violation in the 400 block of E. Ninth Street at 2:34 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate juveniles were located in Eljer Park after hours.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District were dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of Route 47 for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 12:53 a.m. Thursday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies investigated an illegal dumping complaint along the old railroad bed on Woodstock Road at 11:42 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies were sent to the 8800 block of Spain Street in Irwin to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 2:17 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the 20000 block of Route 347 for an injury crash involving a 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis that drove off the road and struck a guardrail at 2:57 p.m. Thursday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital and OSHP investigated the crash.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 4 and Sivey Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Honda CR-V that was struck from behind by a 1999 Peterbilt semi-truck at 4:03 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the Peterbilt, Isaiah D. Larson, 28, of East Liberty was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on West State Street in Milford Center to investigate the unauthorized use of 2010 Kia Forte at 4:08 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Pleasant Valley Fire District responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Route 736 for an injury crash involving a 2019 Chevrolet Malibu that was struck from behind by a 1996 Hyundai Accent at 6:37 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the Hyundai, Madison D. McClincy, 18, of Richwood was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 7000 block of Kirby Road for a person threatening self-harm at 7:03 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of Robinson Road for a person threatening self-harm at 8:51 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to the 13000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate eggs being thrown at passing vehicles at 9:39 p.m. Thursday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of a non-injury crash at 2:26 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Robert Phillips, 48, of Marysville was driving a 2015 Ram van on U.S. 33 near mile post 14 when he struck a 2012 Honda Pilot driven by Joshua Smith, 39, of Marysville in the rear. Phillips was issued a citation.
