According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of theft without consent in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 12:06 p.m. Tuesday.
Ronald Gavula Jr., 45, of Milford Avenue was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 600 block of Milford Avenue at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Gavula was found “highly intoxicated and passed out” in a grassy area between apartment buildings. Officers asked him if he would rather be transported to a “hospital or jail and he stated jail.” He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Andrew B. Dawson, 26, of Wilderness Road was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 400 block of Wilderness Road at 1:04 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Dawson his from officers on the scene. MPD received permission to search the basement and found Dawson “hiding behind a door, inside a small room in the basement.” Dawson did not resist arrest and said he was hiding because he committed a probation violation.
Melvin Deere Jr., 67, of S. Oak Street was cited for driving without paying reinstatement fees in the 100 block of E. Fourth Street at 12:51 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Collins Road for a report of eggs that were thrown at a residence at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies and officers from the Adult Probation Office went to a residence in the 12000 block of U.S. 36 to arrest Edward S. Paver, 32, of Marysville for a probation violation at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy went to the Scioto County Jail to take custody of Jeffrey D. Furnier, 48, of New Boston for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a restaurant in the 7400 block of Route 161 to investigate a break-in in which money and a tablet were stolen at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department, Marysville Division of Fire, Concord Township Fire Department, Scioto Township Fire Department and Delaware County EMS responded to a residence in the 7500 block of Brown Road for a possible house fire at 1:23 p.m. Tuesday. The Jerome Township Fire Department handled the investigation.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 9500 block of Mission Drive to investigate a trespassing complaint at 4:41 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were sent to a correctional facility to investigate an assault on a staff member at 5:09 p.m. Tuesday. As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested Alexis P. Parker, 19, of Springfield for assault. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Dog Leg Road to investigate damage to a 2014 Honda CR-V at 6:29 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to the 17000 block of Waldo Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a vehicle that struck a deer at 9:21 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 22000 block of Northwest Parkway to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 10:28 p.m. Tuesday. The parties were separated.
A deputy took custody of Judy B. Evans, 37, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office at 7:38 a.m. Wednesday. She was released after her court appearance.
A deputy was dispatched to the Municipal Building on Railroad Street in Milford Center to take possession of drug paraphernalia found in the bushes at 8:16 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 29000 block of McMahan Road to investigate the theft of a large amount of change at 10:21 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of Route 347 to investigate a report of damage done to a 2016 Jeep Cherokee that was struck by rocks thrown by a lawn mower at 10:46 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and an officer from the Richwood Police Department went to a residence in the 100 block of West Ottawa Street to take custody of Richard A. Monroe, 34, of Richwood for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:14 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to a Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 15000 block of Hillview Road to investigate a dispute between neighbors at 1:28 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy investigated a dispute between an employer and a terminated employee that occurred in a business in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to take custody of Aaron D. DiLorenzo, 49, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
