According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 1000 block of Lydia Drive at 1:13 a.m. Thursday. The reporting person indicated an intoxicated male caused a disturbance at a local business.
Police conducted a traffic stop due to headlights on a motor vehicle at Route 31 at 2:41 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate the stop led to an OVI investigation, but was “negative on impairment to arrest.”
Police conducted a death investigation in the 1600 block of Millington Way at 4:38 a.m. Thursday. The reporting person indicated a family member died.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of Ash Street at 11:57 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 2:26 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate “Wal-Mart turned in a large amount of recovered property.”
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 600 block of Milford Avenue at 10:01 p.m. Thursday. The reporting person indicated her juvenile son “came home drunk.”
Police responded to a report of fleeing and eluding on Route 4 at 11:40 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate MPD initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for not having a visible license plate. The vehicle then fled from MPD leading to a pursuit, which was later terminated.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 1800 block of Milford Avenue for a report of a person that was threatening self-harm and that had left the residence at 6:13 a.m. Thursday. The person was eventually located and was transported to Maryhaven for evaluation.
A deputy went to the Fairfield County Jail to take custody of Scott M. Laver, 49, of Baltimore, Ohio for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:44 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department, Liberty Township Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the 24000 block of Honda Parkway to investigate an injury crash involving a 2011 Chevrolet Impala and a 2020 Volvo semi-tractor and trailer at 9:26 a.m. Thursday. One person was transported to Memorial Hospital and the Ohio State Highway Patrol handled the crash investigation.
Deputies investigated a report of computer fraud that occurred at a residence in the 14000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive at 9:40 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Short Street in Milford Center to investigate an open 911 cellular call at 10:46 a.m. Thursday. As a result of the investigation, deputies found there was a domestic dispute between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend. The parties separated prior to the units’ arrival.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department, Allen Township Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway patrol responded to the intersection of Route 739 and Johnson Road to investigate an injury crash at 10:50 a.m. Thursday. A 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix was struck by a 2019 Buick Enclave, causing the Pontiac to exit the roadway and strike a road sign. The juvenile driver of the Buick was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at an intersection.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Davis Road to investigate damage done to a vehicle at 11:08 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy took possession of a set of keys that were found in the 18000 block of Raymond Road at 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies attempted to stop subjects riding dirt bikes on Pine Lane near County Home Road at 3:44 p.m. Thursday. The suspects fled and a brief pursuit ensued in which the suspects eluded the deputies by riding in to farm fields.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Jordan L. Wisniewski, 36, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:10 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
