From police reports:
A gas station in the 600 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard reported a theft Tuesday morning. Officials said the theft occurred between 3:32 p.m. and 4 p.m., Monday.
Police were contacted by a resident of the 1700 block of Cobblestone Way at 5:57 p.m. Tuesday, to report suspicious conditions at their home.
Police were called to a home on Emmaus Road at 10:54 p.m. Tuesday, to help an individual dealing with a mental health issue.
From sheriff reports:
Cedric A. Cheetham, 20, of Urbana, was cited for failure to control following a crash at 12:07 a.m. Tuesday. Deputies, along with units from the Pleasant Valley and Jerome Township fire departments, responded to the intersection of state Route 161 and Debolt Road for an injury crash. Cheetham was driving a 2010 Subaru Forrester when he drove off the road, hit a culvert, a utility pole then a utility junction.
About 12:27 a.m., Tuesday, deputies and units from the Pleasant Valley and Jerome Township fire departments went to a home in the 15000 block of Hawn Road to help an individual dealing with a mental health issue. No report was taken.
Ashley N. Saulsberry, 35, of Marengo, was taken into custody about 8:12 a.m. Tuesday, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Local officials took custody of Saulsberry from the Multi-County Jail in Marion where she was being held.
Investigators were sent to a business in the 21000 block of Cotton Slash Road about 9:42 a.m., Tuesday, on a report of a semi trailer found on the property. Officials determined that the trailer had been stolen out of Indiana. They also determined that one of the business’s trailers had been taken.
A report was made after a deputy responded to a property damage crash on Route 4 near Route 37 at 11:59 a.m., Tuesday. A 2020 Honda Pilot struck a 2017 Honda Accord.
A deputy was sent to a home in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 about 12:48 p.m. Tuesday to investigate possible identity theft involving a credit card application.
James C. Largent Jr., 47, of Lewisville, was cited for failure to control about 4:32 p.m. Tuesday. Largent was driving a 2000 Peterbilt truck on Route 31. At the intersection with Rushsylvania Road, Largent went off the road, rolled onto its side and came to rest in a ditch. Deputies, along with officials from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Southeast Hardin Northwest Union County Joint Fire District responded to the property damage crash.
About 5:50 p.m., deputies met with a resident in the 13000 block of Leeper Perkins Road to investigate identity theft involving fraudulently obtained investment accounts.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police officer with a menacing complaint in the 100 block of West Bomford Street about 7:35 p.m. Tuesday.
