According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Joshua Charles McKinley, 34, of Red Pine Drive was cited for assault in the 100 block of Red Pine Drive at 7:39 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 1800 block of Deer Crossing Drive at 6:44 a.m. Monday. The reporting person advised a concrete saw was taken from a trailer “sometime overnight.”
Police responded to a report of breaking and entering and theft from a motor vehicle in the 1300 block of Cidermill Way at 6:55 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 2000 block of Shetland Street at 8:50 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of forgery in the 1400 block of Cinnamon Drive at 10:06 a.m. Monday. The reporting person advised he was scammed out of $760.
Police responded to a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 900 block of Watermill Place at 7:01 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of Hickory Drive at 8:16 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate medication was stolen.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Robert Steinbrunner, 62, of Welsh Place and Roger Wade, 74, of Danville Avenue that occurred on Route 4 at County Home Road at 9:12 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Steinbrunner was stopped in traffic on Route 4, facing northbound, when he was struck from behind by Wade. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Wade was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of Rausch Road to investigate the theft of a power tool from an unlocked vehicle at 7:02 a.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 15000 block of Fish Daum Road to investigate threatening text messages that were received at 8:22 a.m. Monday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 for a possible overdose at 8:29 a.m. Monday. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. While investigating the incident, a deputy arrested Michael A. Rinker, 41, of Dresden for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Pleasant Valley Joint Fire District responded to the 7000 block of Route 161 for an injury crash involving a 2007 Volvo XC90 that lost control in a roundabout and struck a curb at 10:13 a.m. Monday. One victim was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Dog Leg Road to investigate a missing person at 11:12 a.m. Monday.
A deputy went to the Butler County Jail to take custody of Laura L. Jones, 35, of Sabina for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:36 a.m. Monday. She was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Barrett A. Torvert, 40, of Florissant, Missouri for an arrest warrant on indictment at 12:20 p.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Route 38 to investigate a domestic dispute between a brother and sister at 3:44 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence on Railroad Street in Unionville Center to investigate the theft of money from a family member at 6:16 p.m. Monday.
A deputy responded to Yoakum Road east of Route 31 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Honda CR-V that struck a deer at 6:19 p.m. Monday.
