According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Stanley Dale Pettry, 65, of Creekview Drive was cited for assault in the 100 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 8:02 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 600 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate a “subject snuck into the storage room at Murphy Gas Station and stole a box of cigarettes, which contained 30 cartons or about $1,896 worth” of cigarettes.
Police responded to a report of a mental health issue in the 1000 block of Watkins Glen Court at 5:01 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 1700 block of Cobblestone Way at 5:57 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate a female reported suspicious conditions concerning her residence.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 300 block of N. Cherry Street at 8:52 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of a mental health issue in the 400 block of Emmaus Road at 10:54 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Gary Lee Steinhardt, 61, of Keil, Wisconsin and Stefan McLane Kutney, 26, of Barker Road that occurred on S. Walnut Street at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Steinhardt was northbound on Maple Street while Kutney was stopped for a stop sign. Steinhardt reportedly failed to stop for the stop sign and struck Kutney’s vehicle. Kutney experienced suspected minor injuries. Steinhardt was cited for obedience to traffic signals.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Joey Leonard Syphrit, 53, of Pleasant Ridge Drive and Mallory Kristal Leiter, 31, of Cable that occurred on S. Walnut Street at 12:51 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Syphrit was southbound on South Walnut Street and Leiter was pulling out of a private parking lot directly across from 114 S. Walnut Street. Leiter reportedly failed to yield or see Syphrit’s vehicle and began pulling onto the roadway. Leiter struck Syphrit’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. No citations are listed in the report.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Tyler N. Treen, 24, of Forest for a bond violation at 8:56 a.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy arrested Sue A. Ross, 41, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at the Union County Courthouse at 8:59 a.m. Tuesday. She was released on a recognizance bond.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Department officer on West Blagrove Street in Richwood with a suspicious person that had an arrest warrant out of Marion County at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to the roundabout on Route 161 at Eiterman Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Ford Fusion that was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle that left the scene at 1:13 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 13000 block of Watkins Road to investigate a telephone scam at 1:34 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8400 block of Estates Court to investigate a theft complaint involving a customer failing to pay for repair work that was complete at 3:19 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy met with a Plain City Police Department officer to take custody of Kenneth O. Mounts, 70, of Plain City for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:24 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies investigated a trespassing complaint at a property in the 33000 block of Shertzer Road at 6:32 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 12000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate possible credit card fraud at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 19000 block of Shirk Road to investigate a dispute over an eviction notice at 11:12 p.m. Tuesday. The parties were separated.
